So someone in another forum just sent in their I129f and it was routed to CSC. They filed from Florida so it should of went to TSC. I wonder what their plan is here.

I just filed last week and my Fiance is from TEXAS so we should have clearly been routed to the TSC but we got routed to CSC right away..so I guess the newly established transfer rule is also applicable to all new cases!!!

I was thinking that too. I wish I had waited one more week to send in my application! I got my NOA1 right before the transfer was announced! :(

Actually I was sooo mad with my Fiance for taking so long to get all the papers together for the petition....and now I realize that it was the greatest blessing since he is from Texas and would have clearly been assigned to TSC but we got routet to CSC right away...it makes no sense to me that they only transfer the brand new cases since one would think that they would first take the oldest petitions but thankfully for us they do...

Apparently the thinking is to balance both service centers out, by bombarding CSC with an influx of new cases, thereby giving TSC a chance to 'catch up'. If that is to be believed.

And yes all new cases, starting the week of the announcement onwards, for an undetermined amount of time will be directly routed.

Please correct your timeline. You were never at TSC, you were routed CSC directly, mono transfers involved, please update your service center to CSC and take out the transfer otherwise it will mess up timeline predictions for the rest of us!

So I gather from reading the posts that there are no files being transferred to CSC from Texas that have been waiting in line for months correct? This seems like a strange way to balance the workload. Unfair to the filers from many months ago and will not speed up the process.

Although it remains to be seen exactly what effect this new routing scheme will have, its intention is to balance the processing times between the TSC and CSC. So those of you who are being routed to the CSC directly now, when previously you would have been routed to the TSC, don't go celebrating just yet. Your petition could end up being processed much slower than the CSC has been during the past couple of years or so. Hopefully the processing times will equal out at about 5 months for both centers, but we'll see.

Just sayin'

Personally from what I can tell, CSC seems to be proficient with their work than TSC. But maybe that is because TSC doesn't have enough help. Also perhaps more applicants come from the eastern USA than the western USA. Interested in seeing how all of this will factor in processing times. I feel bad for those still stuck at TSC, but who knows what the future holds.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Eh, proficiency isn't in play as much as it is the number of received petitions, availability of qualified adjudicators and the relative priority of the I-129F within the given SC. I mean, there was a time when the CSC was slower than the TSC. Historically it has always varied on the above factors primarily. One SC is usually faster than the other, but it's just been rare that the difference has been this large.

Anyway, I and others fought hard for equality. Based on the letter I received yesterday, I believe we had a direct effect on this rerouting outcome. So it's cool to see that maybe, just maybe, order and fair processing of the I-129F will be restored.

TBD

I feel like some people here are just soooo negative!!! Oh my...I do get that y'all are frustrated at your situation but to wish the same on others is a little dramatic don't you think? No offense...but I simply posted it to let people know that my case was directly routed since many thought the transfer meant that older petitions are being transferred to CSC...which still can happen...but all I can do is inform people about MY situation.

All I am saying is that I get that it is hard to sometimes be happy for others when you are in a miserable situation yourself (or so it seems) but to give people a bad attitude for it is just wrong and immature....we are all adults here so we should be able to deal with things in a more appropriate manner.

And I DO NOT believe that my petition is going to be processed "much slower" since I filed only one week after the transfer was announces which clearly means that statistically not that many cases have been filed within just 7 days so the stack of rerouted petitions is still kind of small.

So before you go around destroying everyone's happy mood...maybe just think about whether that really contributes to your success and happiness; and evaluate if it's really necessary to put out there.
