On this site I have seen many approved cases with NOA1 from January 2015 at TSC. Are they forgetting some cases of 2014 like September, October cases...

When we call them all the agents have a similar answer.... are they really working on cases from September and October 2014.... they say we have to wait and wait... why are they that slow, why are they approving cases of about 60 days and not working on the cases with earlier dates.... (Sounds Crazy it's real)

There's only been a few random september filers so far, but I believe April will be the month of many lucky september filers so I guess If we just stay "positive" for a little little more we will also soon see our cases be approved :))

This journey is so much easier if you can stay positive ? don't let the jeoulosy take place cause it will only ruin you!

Any of such approvals you have seen were either Philippines, expedites, or incorrectly filled out Timelines that should actually have been CSC Cases.

Why are cases from Philippines processed faster? aren't cases supposed to be equal for everyone???

Philippines were expedited, due to a devastating hurricane. All cases may be equal, but no two cases are identical. Each case proceeds at it's singular pace, once your package enters the center. They take it all apart, cash the check, put into a file box in the order they want it, and it then waits for the adjudicator. Sometimes, as you have found, the wait is long.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It was actually a Typhoon called Typhoon Hagupit. 18 people died and 916 were injured.

It was the second major Typhoon to hit the Philippines in 2014.

While I realize this is tragedy, it's not exactly true that all applicants from the Philippines were devastated by this event.

Natural disasters hit most countries on a yearly basis causing casualties and injuries but these countries are not given a swift entrance into the US.

That's a long story & only theories speculate why the Philippines still receive expedites & why no other countries that also have natural disasters receive like expedites.

Expedites for the Philippines continue to happen, and the whys are up to the USCIS own discretion -- as other posters have said cases that you see approved are most likely Philippine cases, or those incorrectly filled out. However there have been some Septembers and even Octobers completed, while there still remains some in August. No one has the answers why. Our hands are effectively tied. Officially they are working on August, and that's the best answer you're going to get from them. We know they continue to do applications from other months, but they will never admit to that. All we can do is contact our representatives about it and complain, and continue to wait as patiently as we can.

As a fellow October filer, I'm right there with you on the waiting period. At this point I don't expect any movement until late April or late May. I will be happy if it's sooner.
