As long as your spouse is a USC or LPR fill out I 130 (completely & truthfully)

along with a photo-copy of the USC birth-cert, your birth cert, marriage certs

)if either of U been marry B4) your divorce decree, &money order $420 If he is

LPR then copy of front & back of GC

Posted (edited)

OP would likely go out of status before their priority date became current, if they were married to an LPR and not a US citizen.

More details needed:

- when and how you last entered the US.

- whether you're married to a US citizen or not.

OP is in Michigan. He/She needs more than an I-130 for a green card. He/She needs a US citizen spouse to file an I-485 for a green card. An LPR spouse can not file the I-485 concurrently with the I-130.

Ya. Posted in k-3 forum. All k-3 visa holders file i-485, get green card.

for a j-1, without hrr in j-1 visa foil, married to a us citizen,

file i-130 and i-485 plus other stuff, we've a guide for that. So

Op. Find a pc. Come back on a pc, study the guides section using a pc.

ok? Ok!

You sound lost. As the poster above said, read the guides on this site about adjusting from your J-1 status.

We can't tell you what to do because we don't know what your intentions were when you got married.

Please note that it's not just a simple case of filling out 1 form and getting your green card.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).
