hi

no, only USC can petition for siblings and it takes over 12 years of waiting

she can come to visit but never overstay

once your wife becomes a USC she can petition for her sister and she has to wait in Colombia

this is horrible. Your wife's sisters are abusing their privileges. They are making things are harder for their fellow compatriots that have NO DESIRE to live in the US and just want to visit like the visa is INTENDED. what you are suggesting not only is impossible but fraud. They have to wait for the sister to become a citizen

So it's bets she goes home and awaits the process. My wife is scheduled to take here citizens test in the summer time.

Hi,

They have no choice but to go home. There is no way for them to adjust.

First, your wife has to be a USC to petition for her sister.

Second, it takes 12-14 years for a USC to petition for a sibling. Getting a tourist visa does not allow a sibling of a USC to skip the line and file for AOS.

Filing for AOS would be frivolous and will lead to negative consequences.
