This thread has continued now for 19 pages. A topic in which not a single soul on this site, either by magic, or proxy, or direct post has taken it seriously. Have they? I saw the broad brush applied in a very sick manner to suggest the people in this forum lived on the bandwagon of the OP and actually think the topic has merit?

This topic is not deserving of the white space that's already been used. It's sick, and should not have been allowed to even be posted in a public forum. As I have said repeatedly in this thread and others: The US is a country that is founded and rooted on the first amendment. There is a reason that it's first. My opinion won't change here. I'm rooted deeply where I stand. Deference in human life is required to maintain peace. But, deference does not mean becoming a doormat. The bill of rights cannot be reworded into a bill of oppression. Rights are governed by laws that do not allow for oppression.

You keep talking about freedom of speech, you do know freedom of speech comes at a consequence. You can say whatever you want. That is the American way. Just be expected to pay the consequences. Cause and effect.

This person says gays should be murdered and it is being premeditated. The consequence??? Nut house or jail. A judge should decide that.

The US Constitution and Bill of Rights can be confusing as the method of writing was different then than it is today. So, I inject a correction to your assertion that "you keep talking about freedom of speech." Please note, the first part of the first ammendment, to which I referred:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

So, there you have it. What is seemingly a straightforward explanation as to what cannot be done, has been twisted into a new war. Not the race war of holder and obama, but a religious war. Folks are polarized to fight on both sides. Is this really what we all want for America? I don't want this. But, I have no power to stop it either.

Lying about virginity

Committing adultery between a man and a woman

Eating Cheeseburgers ( mixing dairy and milk)

Planting more than one kind of seed in a field ( not sure if this is code)

Being a stubborn, rebellious, profligate, and drunkard son

Cutting the hair on the sides of your head or clipping of the edges of your beard

If an engaged female virgin, being raped in a city

Performing any work on the Sabbath

But we could spin up a whole new industry and revenue stream for state governments managing atonement:

"And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering"

and then there is firewood sales for burning and rock sales for stoning....
