Music awards here, and something little strange. Heard about 4 gunshots (pretty close) went off about hour ago. I called the 911 apparently someone had called it in to.

Yes Noura, I'm getting pretty excited. My son is too.He pulls the daily 'paper chain' link he made me for the countdown. Only two left and one rolls off there at 7am tomorrow... :dance: Omar will be on his way when it's the middle of the night here. He said he'll call me from the airport that he is all checked in. Then I told him how to call from a payphone in NY just to tell me he is through immigration so I can breathe again!! I don't know that I"ve heard of many turn backs. Don't know why I'm worried about it. I guess because the cleaning is done and I have nothing else to do now but work and worry, oh and maybe sleep. :o

Thanks Brndl...I know everything will be ok and yes I am excited. I suppose most people go through different emotions at this state. It's like the dream is finally becoming a reality yet it is still just a weee bit off in the distance. But I got time for you girls now (even Charles) so let's party!!! :dance::dance: BTW: is there a known next reunion after mine or are we waiting for news? oh yes Yasmine is this weekend.. :dance::dance: .anyone else??

Just ordered a belly dancing tape that Noura had suggested. I told Usama that I'm going to do a belly dance for him when I go in July and his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets!!! Just now he texted me and wrote , "habibi you make me so hoot tonight". :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have been practicing but still too rough to put on a show lolol.

I have my Special K, and proteing packed up for work for the week. It's back to a hardcore diet. I have my wedding dress and while with some figting it zips, I better not move... I'VE GOT TO LOOSE 10 POUNDS. Ideally 15, but 10 will work too.

I am going for another visit March 29 or 30 so I need to loose the 10 by then and keep it off until we get through immigration so I can fit my dress. I bought it early but it was about to be discontinued. I am going to buy another one too from India for our reception in Turkey.

Guess someone will start a monday thread in a few....anyway nite all.

1st K-1 Journey:

June 2005 - filed

October 2005 - visa interview

March 2006 - AOS packet mailed

DIVORCED

June 2007 - Interview

2008 - 10 year approval

07/28/07 - AOS paperwork mailed

07/30/07 - Received at lockbox

OH yeah...I am planning on dropping at least 15 before July when I see him next, insha Allah. I do the South Beach diet and so far it's worked for me. Once I get the hang of it I want to get those clicky things you make sound with your hands with and some cutie pie skirts with the jingly things on them. :thumbs: Poor guy's not gonna know what hit him once I get going. :lol:

The bolded parts are highly technical terms commonly used by belly dancers. Just wantin' add to our understanding some :P
