Tracking EP at the NVC (YOUR DATA NEEDED!)

Just spoke with the NVC. Since I have filed everything via EP, I cannot change my way of sending in the documents.

She says 45 days down from 60, but we shall see.

I'm so sorry to hear you got checklisted and can't switch to paper. I really think it will be quicker than 60 though, maybe even faster than 45. And we're all here for you in the meantime. (L)

ahhhh canuck.....I'm sad too!

hang in there....probably will be less than 45 the way things are moving so quickly now.....people are even getting case numbers in a week so I read!!! :)

makes sense though, canadiangirl39 also got a checklist this week. she wanted to email her checklist docs in and they said " no, you can;t cuz you sent in all your other docs through the mail', so i guess its only one way....no flex here!!!

but, gosh, do you believe it....thought it was 2015 and a technological age????? argh!!!!

Hi everyone.

Just got checklisted.

The two things they are asking for is page 7 of 9 which is the outline of the sponsor's contract, we sent in the signed page but not the primary one. The second was the preparer's page 9 of 9. We never had one so I didn't send that page in.

I am checking to see if I have to send the entire package again or just those two pages.

Btw, do I have to wait another 60days for them to review these two pages? If so, is there anyway to expedite the request?

Blah! I'm soo sorry about your checklist and I'm super bummed that you have to email in again! I'm going to lose it on them probably if I get a checklist and they won't let me mail it! I'm so over this EP bologna!! I seriously hope they have fixed the issues and you will be put in order with the mail filers as well. Ugh I'm frustrated for you...sounds like easy things to fix though at least (although it also kind of sounds like nit-picky things). Good luck!

i just got off the phone from talking to Dale at the nvc, this is what he told me about EP (for those of you who don't know).

EP is significantly behind because they went from having 5 embassy/consulates doing EP to 10 (i forgot to ask specifically what date this occurred--does anyone know?). backlog is phenomenal. For our case he suspects a Cinco de Mayo cc date however he did say...."not to hold him to that date as they have made gains on the backlog....for example they have shaved 2 days off the EP processing over these past 2 weeks!"...fingers crossed!

if this is the case then my canadian friends should be hearing something before month's end as your a week(s) ahead of me. :) and, this also means there's a ton of others out there that have not seen this thread!!!! ;) and should be on this list!!!!! :)

I finally got something and it's a freakin checklist!! They are asking for birth certificates that I have sent already, and asking for a non conviction from Israel for my dad. My dad can't enter Israel, spoke to a representative about it and she said if he can't provide it they have to write it down why and that will be the proof. Also same CL they said that my income was not enough!! Can someone help me? I'm so confused and frustrated. How much am I suppsed to be making? I have a husband and a son and I'm sponsoring both of my parents.

Hi everyone,

just an update from me -

My "scan date" is March 11 for EP.

My husband just called the NVC today and was told our IV/AOS package was CC just today :dancing: (23 days).

However, I will caveat that with the fact that we have not yet received any correspondence about this, and cannot check CEAC because it's currently under maintenance.

The NVC phone consultant might be just telling him that to get my husband off the phone but I sure hope not! Will update once I get solid proof.

There is HOPE!

OK. This actually gives me less hope! What the heck is going on at the NVC? A huge backlog and then all of a sudden a fast CC? Did they just skip over all of us in the backlog? So strange!

her timeline suggests she is from austrailia, which could be why.

I'd love further insights as to her quick cc too!
