I just got my CC... 10 days after sending through EP.

My daughter's case hasn't been approved though. The funny thing is that her documents were sent one day before mine. We are not going to the interview queue until her case gets approved :-(

Yeah...I'm not sure how you got it in 10 days. Unless they have really just sped things up a lot of have a low volume right now.

I think it was by mistake. They have entered my first name incorrectly in their system, and I had placed a request to correct it. Maybe it was because of that, I don't know.

I originally felt bad about it, but then, my case is not going anywhere because I need to wait for my daughter's, so it's not like I have a CC in reality.

I just sent off all our stuff this evening by email using electronic processing. Hopefully it has gotten faster and we didn't make a mistake. It was just going to take an extra week or so two have the package put together via mail (would need to FedEx forms to one another) and we wanted to get it sent. This way we scanned it all and now my wife will send me all the originals so I have them for whenever the interview happens.

Anyways here is to hoping for a quick case complete.

I got a checklist after 11 days for the DS-260 (now I'm stuck waiting forever for that) and I've seen someone else get a CC around the 10-15 day mark doing EP in the last couple weeks as well. I think if you get through without a checklist right now, it's quick. But if you get a checklist it will take forever.

Do they send some sort of email saying that they received it? Any idea how long it takes?

I got an email 5-6 days after I emailed the docs saying they had received them. Then got a second email for the checklist. I'm presuming if I hadn't gotten the checklist, I would have found out about the CC on the website first.

It will be a week since we sent in the AOS/IV package using EP at the end of the day (we have already don't the DS-260 a few days before that). Not sure if I should be worried about no notice of receipt/scan date yet or if I should be calling. I am hoping for a fast EP process....my wife is finding it really hard with the baby all on her own and would love for me to be there.

Starting to think maybe EP was not the best idea.

I called NVC on Monday and asked if they received our emails that we sent beginning of last week. She told me she couldn't see emails that early and it normally takes two weeks and I should call back end of week or early next week.

I just called back now and the guy tonight was nice but told me that they can't see email receipt like they can for physical mail. That email basically gets processed when they get it so when the guy opens my email he will work on my case kinda thing and until then they have no idea that they have my stuff.

Is that true? He told me that it can take 35 days to get to my email and then after that if it still hasn't happened they need to get a supervisor on it.

Is what he told me true? Or what the first person told me at the beginning of the week true, or both? Neither?

They will send you an email confirming that they received your documents with the scan date. It usually takes 7 business days. However, yes they do see it. Except they don't know whats in that email but they let you know if its under reviewing. For my case my email now is under supervisor review. My scan date was july 10 and i had false checklist on aug 18. I was told that they never received an email from me and some opertor tell me the opposite and so on. Only my ds260 has been reviewed hopefully i get my cc soon. I lost faith on them lol. Good luck!

It has been 8 business days since we sent it (I sent it Monday the 7th at night) and we have not gotten anything. I am worried that something went wrong and they never got it.

Hopefully they got it. I filled at my DS-260 on september 5th so they should have everything they need from us. The guy on the phone didn't even seem to know if I did my DS-260. He was like "Did you fill out the DS-260 yet" and I said "Yes I did" and he was like "Oh! Good!! But the review for that is 35 days also...but we will get to it!"

I never received any notifications (paper nor email) from nvc about reception of our packages. i called them multiple times after waiting a month or so to find out. Each agent told me different scan dates and none of them made sense (eg our scan date should have been about a week after our packages were emailed but the agent was saying it was just received a few days prior to the phone call and this put me through the roof). It was strange. Our entire process (USCIS and NVC) was like this. Best not waste energy trying to figure them out. In our journey phone calling was the best method....this is how we found out we had our CC too.

Thanks!

back in feb when we sent in our docs (whether email or mail) most were getting scan dates about one week post sending. there were many cdns on this site then and chumming together. several did not get notification of scan dates until post one month and a few not at all. its just a formality really and doesn't really matter. what does matter is that the rep sees no red flags on your file. many of us during that time received notification of checklists via phone calls this way. we never got a checklist which was great. as for our CC....one day i called out of the blue just to 'check in' and was floored to hear we had CC. turns out we got 2 days prior to my call. it may seem annoying to call (as well as a pain) but i recommend you call just let them know you're alive and well and waiting. i was not a habitual caller but i did check in with them several times throughout the process.

I had a question about electronic processing. Still have not heard anything from NVC. I called last night and they still say that they can't tell with emails if they have gotten them until they are reviewed (what a terrible system).

I followed the new process of each document being a different pdf in the email. And I followed the Montreal EP wiki from Saylin. Thing is I was a bit confused. Was I supposed to send 1 email or 2 emails? Based on the wiki I sent 2, back to back. The first one being the documents for AOS and the second email sent like 2 seconds after (I prepared both then hit send on each) being the IV documents. Should I have sent it all in one email? The wiki had two different subjects and email content, so I thought it was two emails.

Also, if I was over the size limit, would the email server at NVC bounced back? The AOS email was 7MB (the largest file was 2MB) and the IV email was 4MB. I thought it was a 5MB file limit not total..normally a safe email limit everywhere is 10MB (I work in IT, specifically on email servers a lot).

Just since I have not gotten anything from them...I am starting to freak out. I was hoping for a Novemeber interview if we would have gotten CC around now...but yeah.
