Akazmi I don't know who they were asking to reschedule I was just told that they were asking people to reschedule their interview, it must be a huge back log when they have come to this.

well we still have 5 weeks until our interview.... I guess there is no shot at getting it rescheduled for earlier with all this :P :P

07-13-2018 I-551 extension stamp (12 mths) obtained at USCIS office in Detroit

09-20-2018 Transferred to TSC

10-15-2018 Text notification "New Card Being Produced"   YAY!!

Glass Half Full = Just found out the Loomis location in London is quite near Len Mills, the fabric heaven!! Hmmm... can pick up passports and fabric in one trip!! LOL!!!!

I miss Len Mills so much. My family used to make a few trips a year, growing up. Both my grade 8 grad dress and my prom dress were fabric from Len Mills. The prom dress was insane--even with the fact that I bought end-of-bolt fabrics, I still spent over 400 dollars for the dress (crepe backed satin) and the overcloak (silver-blue organza).

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

Possibly Halloween stuff...... but the hobby that hubby and I play in (kids too) requires garb (medieval clothes) and they have lots and lots of pretty, inspirational stuff :)

I don't sew (yet!), but I have plenty of friends who do :) I could probably sew well enough to make a few basic dresses for my girls (who won't stop growing) but will pay someone to do really nice stuff for me :)

I'm really happy to see my VJ friends doing well :)

Still keeping my fingers crossed that this is fixed soon Sammyann!!

Kids and I had our medical yesterday - doc was nice and efficient, but his office staff turned the whole experience into a NIGHTMARE!!!

The one lady claimed that she called and got a wrong number so cancelled our appointments!! ((After I just drove through pouring rain from Windsor :P )) After a lot more waiting (I was fuming) we finally saw Dr Lee about 11:15~ish and were out of the office just before noon. My girls were incredible, given how long we were waiting and how long of a day it already had been!!

But it's all done now :P Thank goodness!!

I read some bad review about Dr. Lee's office. I'm hesitant to go there even though I'm close to Scarborough.

Case completed June 16. They finally found my missing e-mail.

The doc himself was pleasant and great to speak with...... the blood work lab is across the street..... and the xray place he sends you to is about a 10 min drive (at Kennedy & Sheppard)......

Just the one lady in his office really got under my skin. If you can get past her, everything else was fine :)

And congrats on the Case Complete!!!! :) :)

01-14-2015: case number and IIN number received via email
01-14-2015: DS-261 submitted
