Hey mag I found someone called windowlove hers is saying ready since May 12, she is on the Canada portal

Yeah I know, I talked to her. She actually got a form for missing documents and had to send stuff in. There ARE a few people who seem to be waiting who were outright approved without documents missing or other issues. No one knows why. One person has been waiting 6 weeks already, and they were told to talk to their congressperson by the consulate. I have to stop reading the horror stories, because it just makes me more depressed and upset.

I give up for now. I just can't do this anymore. It's month 15 and I am tired mentally.

Am so sorry mag, I agree let's stop reading and looking for these stories I can't help but feel so drain and hurt by this, I told my husband maybe he should have come here instead this is so long and painful task.....

Hey mag I checked soon many times and found no one on the day you did your interview I find it strange I think people don't always update their timeline, I will keep an hear out for you, I am pretty sure your file is sitting there because the officers sick or something I can't see why this is happening

Hey two chickies how is the travelling coming along, which U.S. Border crossing did you use

We crossed at St Stephen, NB, Canada/Calais, ME, USA. :thumbs: Traveling is going okay. Last night was awful with our dog, but tonight seems to be going better. Made it to NY.

Mag, I hope you hear something soon! I am still keeping you in my payers

Thanks to everyone for looking out for me! I arrived home safely and my POE was a okay. However, I am thankful that I had 2.5hrs layover in pearson's airport else I would have maybe missed my flight....there was a LONG queue waiting to go through the U.S immigration. Other than that, every other step was pretty easy!

USCIS (CR-1)

August 12th, 2014: I-130 Mailed

August 13th, 2014: I-130 was received by AZ lockbox and transferred to Nebraska SC

August 15th, 2014: NOA1 by E-mail

August 22nd, 2014: Received NOA1 by Mail

February 2nd, 2015: USCIS Approved 1-130 petition (175 days)

February 10th, 2015: Case Status on USCIS website (We sent your case to the Department of State for visa Processing)

February 13th, 2015: Received NOA2 by Mail

NVC (CR-1)

February 17th, 2015: Case Received at NVC

February 27th, 2015: Case & Invoice ID numbers assigned

February 27th, 2015: Submitted DS-261

March 3rd, 2015: AOS bill paid

March 4th, 2015: NVC welcome letter received by postal mail.

March 6th, 2015: Sent both AOS & IV packages via fedex (didn't opt for EP)

March 9th, 2015: packages arrived at NVC office (fedex tracking showed delivered)

March 14th, 2015: received official letter from NVC stating receipt of packages and March 9th, 2015 as the scan date

March 18th, 2015: AOS fee rejected (due to glitch during payment and possibly human error in imputing the bank details )

March 18th, 2015: RE-PAID AOS fee

March 19th, 2015: AOS fee accepted (changed from "in process" to "paid)

March 24th, 2015: DS 261 was reviewed

March 25th, 2015: IV fee was invoiced

March 25th, 2015: IV fee paid - "in process"

March 27th, 2015: IV Payment changed to "paid"

March 27th, 2015: DS 260 completed

March 30th, 2015: Case complete .....21 days from scan date

April 6th,2015: Official case complete email received.

April 22nd,2015: Received interview letter (p4)

April 22nd,2015: Booked medical at medisys for may 6th,2015

May 6th, 2015: Completed Medical

May 11th, 2015: Collected medical result.

May 15th, 2015: Interview appointment - Approved :dancing::dance::dancing: "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord"

Hi, no news. My file hasn't been touched since May 27th. As I told CdnGirl I give up. I cannot bear this, and there seems to be nothing for me to do. I have been reading horror stories of people waiting for 6 weeks (only one but of course it's huge in my head), and a second inquiry to the consulate only brought the same form letter albeit with a slightly more irate tone. This time it said "as previously instructed" lol.

Thanks for asking though.

I am afraid to type this in case they can take it away but it says issued. It finally says issued. Thank god. I am sitting here crying and feeling slightly nauseous, but this means (hopefully) that my mid June POE is still on.

Thank you so much for being here for me. My husband, as amazing as he is, did not understand the sense of despair I felt watching everyone else get issued. I cannot tell you how much you all have helped. Thank you.
