NVC... DONE  in 116 days from NOA2 to final CC

Final Steps... DONE in 350 days from NOA1 to POE
POE 08-11-2015 in Detroit, MI 

 

 

 

 

Removal of Conditions

07-11-2017 NOA1 date (rec'd on 14th)

08-03-2017 Daughter and I completed biometrics; May 2018 - I had to redo my biometrics (reason unknown)

WAC17283xxxxx....and we wait...400 days

07-13-2018 I-551 extension stamp (12 mths) obtained at USCIS office in Detroit

09-20-2018 Transferred to TSC

10-15-2018 Text notification "New Card Being Produced"   YAY!!

USCIS (CR-1)

August 12th, 2014: I-130 Mailed

August 13th, 2014: I-130 was received by AZ lockbox and transferred to Nebraska SC

August 15th, 2014: NOA1 by E-mail

August 22nd, 2014: Received NOA1 by Mail

February 2nd, 2015: USCIS Approved 1-130 petition (175 days)

February 10th, 2015: Case Status on USCIS website (We sent your case to the Department of State for visa Processing)

February 13th, 2015: Received NOA2 by Mail

NVC (CR-1)

February 17th, 2015: Case Received at NVC

February 27th, 2015: Case & Invoice ID numbers assigned

February 27th, 2015: Submitted DS-261

March 3rd, 2015: AOS bill paid

March 4th, 2015: NVC welcome letter received by postal mail.

March 6th, 2015: Sent both AOS & IV packages via fedex (didn't opt for EP)

March 9th, 2015: packages arrived at NVC office (fedex tracking showed delivered)

March 14th, 2015: received official letter from NVC stating receipt of packages and March 9th, 2015 as the scan date

March 18th, 2015: AOS fee rejected (due to glitch during payment and possibly human error in imputing the bank details )

March 18th, 2015: RE-PAID AOS fee

March 19th, 2015: AOS fee accepted (changed from "in process" to "paid)

March 24th, 2015: DS 261 was reviewed

March 25th, 2015: IV fee was invoiced

March 25th, 2015: IV fee paid - "in process"

March 27th, 2015: IV Payment changed to "paid"

March 27th, 2015: DS 260 completed

March 30th, 2015: Case complete .....21 days from scan date

April 6th,2015: Official case complete email received.

April 22nd,2015: Received interview letter (p4)

April 22nd,2015: Booked medical at medisys for may 6th,2015

May 6th, 2015: Completed Medical

May 11th, 2015: Collected medical result.

They are probably trying to catch up with friday's work. In my opinion there is nothing to worry about.....give it till tomorrow or thursday or worse case on friday. Relax friends!!!

Thanks eki! I think that it's just we've been waiting so long, and we've had so many hiccups, one more is not something I want or need. I KNOW logically that they need a few days for processing, and in their letter it says allow 3 days, but everyone gets issued almost right away, so when it doesn't happen, I worry. Mind you, it seems both CanadianGirl and I are in the same boat, and we had different interviewers, so maybe it's that Friday's batch that hasn't been done yet. It does seem like the most likely explanation. Although I haven't seen a lot of Canadians wait so long to see "issued."

hey mag and cdngirl, they were closed yesterday...stat holiday.

hence that's why it was a zoo there today.

anyways, i'd expect to hear something late today if not tomorrow. you interviewed late in the morning friday....and one one of you mentioned you almost closed the place, so with that in mind, I'd expect something definitely by late Wednesday. :)

anyways, luck is on my side today...after i dashed out of the consulate, i grabbed breakie to go, went back to the hotel and packed, headed to the airport and was able to take an earlier flight home....and beat the traffic!!! yeah! heading to do the infamous stairs to sweat out the anxiety...

eki, be sure to enjoy the complimentary beer and wine on the 31st!!!

Things to NOT do. Start scrolling VJ and looking for disaster stories of what happens when people's CEAC remains in "ready." My reserve of patience is gone. My ONLY solace is this place and that CdnGrl is in the same boat, meaning it's not just something horrible about ME. After 15 months, I think I have lost all my ability to act non-hysterically, and it's taking all I have to not post a topic calling all May 22n interviewees to see what their CEACs say. THIS is how nuts I have become. Argh. Bright spot today for me --> Mrs thb's news.

Oh gosh!! What else are you finding out?? I can't take this!!

Oh nonononooooo I don't mean to freak you out. I was writing that to point out that looking for issues is STUPID. I was reading all kinds of stories, but none of them are me or you, and I realized while doing that that it was ridiculous, and it only spoke to the degree of anxiety I've learned to live with.

I am just reminding myself that what I am doing is non-productive and silly!!!!! And that we will be just fine!!!!! Like we were on Friday.
