There are so many of us waiting, facing the consulate. It's kind of adorable.

One man just came back and sounds like they got a 212g for not meeting income requirements and his husband living in Canada. Apparently all they want though to give the GC is a letter from them both saying the date they'll leave Canada together and a joint sponsor.

Haha I know right? No he's not. The guy that was in line behind us, his wife just got out and came up to me because apparently my husband asked her to tell me he hasn't seen anybody yet. She went in at 8 so I think I got a while to wait!

We did go back at 8:30 but since no one was outside, waited until 9 like they told us.

We knew if we got turned away it'd be a bummer, but the chance of getting in earlier sounded nice so we went ahead. I have NO IDEA if there is even a pattern anymore to who they let in or how.

Oh I definitely am addicted!!! I'd be even more of a wreck then I already am if I didn't have you guys via internet

I didn't ask if I could go because judging by everyone else who got turned away, I didn't think I'd be any different. And seeing as how we're all at Starbucks, I think they either had no room in the consulate today or they don't usually allow spouses anymore.

Someone else came in and they were approved, so heartwarming to see. I did hear her say they do their best to stress you out though.
