August 13th, 2014: I-130 was received by AZ lockbox and transferred to Nebraska SC

August 15th, 2014: NOA1 by E-mail

February 2nd, 2015: USCIS Approved 1-130 petition (175 days)

February 10th, 2015: Case Status on USCIS website (We sent your case to the Department of State for visa Processing)

Thank you for all the well wishes everyone, and congratulations for the CCs and interviews!! :dancing:

The results of my husband's medical were ready today as promised. Now all that's left is getting there super early and hoping we don't get turned away because his appointment is 9:30.

As for what we've been doing in Montreal: botanical gardens are amazing as NAT suggested. We hit up the biodome, planetarium, and insectarium as well. They are all sort of connected and nearby. We've also been to Parc La Fontaine twice to visit the dog park. They have benches outside the fence so we just sat and watched the doggies play for a while. Beautiful weather here. Our first visit there a friendly goldendoodle and his owner walked up to us. Turned out the guy was from New Jersey and has been living in Montreal with his husband for the past six years. He knew all about the immigration process and had a friend here for the same interview recently. It was so nice.

We also tried out Le Doggy Cafe...not great. Seems like a very new place and that they don't exactly know what they're doing. mrs thb, I don't know if you were considering going or not, but I'd suggest skipping it.

Montreal is a beautiful city and I feel like we're pretty lucky that if the consulate doing interviews has to be limited to one, it's not a bad place to be forced to go. ;)

June may not fly.... looking at data from previous years, those with CC's this late in March seem to get very early July dates - which would be awesome too ((kids are in school til the end of June so they wouldn't have to miss any time ;) ))

We were there at 6:20. Next couple showed up at 6:25. Third lady was there around 6:45 and from there people slowly trickled in until 7:15-7:30 when everyone decided to show up! ;)

His appointment is 9:30. We're gonna head over at 8:30 to see if there's a long line.

Well guys, he's in the consulate! It said applicants only so I'm at Starbucks where I can still see the line haha. It is freezing today so they were letting as many people wait inside as possible.

I'm so nervous!! Happy to have WiFi though. :)

Did one of the staff (?) say you could not go in? I thought spouses were allowed....

Met in the SCA - DRACO INVICTUS!  08-14-2014 Married in Ann Arbor, MI

Final Steps... DONE in 350 days from NOA1 to POE

08-03-2017 Daughter and I completed biometrics; May 2018 - I had to redo my biometrics (reason unknown)

07-13-2018 I-551 extension stamp (12 mths) obtained at USCIS office in Detroit

09-20-2018 Transferred to TSC

10-15-2018 Text notification "New Card Being Produced"   YAY!!
