congrats bmwr35s and fingers crossed for the other one.... and congrats cdngirl39 on getting a interview date. yes you can call without having the actual email. they only want the date at the time of booking your medical but at the medical is where they want to see the actual P4 letter. btw you book via email if your going with dr m, so you can do it today. they do not take phone calls. good luck to you both!!!

stop...or you will drive yourself crazy. there are lots on here that will help you through this and what's great is your getting it first hand...from those that just went through it. you will be fine.

ideas--best be getting your 6 2x2 passport shots done now (4 for medical and 2 for interview).

best be visiting your fam doc if you need to update any vaccines and/or get a titer done to see what you need if your not up to date.

dr m will need a vac record.

and lastly you need to make arrangements to get to montreal.....many have taken the mega bus which is super cheap and super sweet if the bus is empty (for a few extra bucks you can book your sweet seat) or train (which also sounds lovely) or fly.

and then finding a place to stay...hostel, b and b or hotel.

but, i'd wait for the P4 before you drop any $ on transportation or a place just in case they gave you misinformation over the phone re: dates. that P4 should be arriving soon.

i have not, I just didn't want you thinking you were being ignored. Is that the doc in vaughan? if so, someone here just went to him.

:goofy::goofy: good luck to my traveling friends....wishing you a very safe journey and best wishes if we don't talk soon!!!! :goofy::goofy:

Its the travelling that is freaking me out but Visa Journey is keeping me sane as reading every one else's experience is giving me courage.

While reading the awesome-ness of all of you I've been prepping my interview file folder, practically since day one.... keeping everything organized and filed.... I also carry this file with me when I'm crossing the border to visit hubby.... It's come in handy to pull out the accordion file folder when the guard asks about paperwork ~ I've got copies of everything! LOL!!

I had my titre test done back in January and the kids' vac records in the folder too ;)

I'm so ready to be done all this!! LOL!!!!
