Hello good new bears!! A quick update that Dr. M's office called to tell me my medical is ready for pick up early on Tue!! Yay. Two days, so quicker than even Dr. M thought it would be. I must say, I had an excellent experience with them, despite my worries. Hugs!! m

I am super jealous...but super duper happy for you as well  !! I'm still stressing that mine won't be ready...they said it should be done by Thursday, but no one could say for sure  gahhhh

It will be done. I seriously think that these offices don't want to deal with a bad rep, and they would not make that appointment for you. Dr. M's receptionist confirmed when I was stressing that they would not make the appointment if they didn't think they'd have the results in time. They are aware of the cost and the stress.

So don't be me, and don't look for things to worry about. In one week, we will be done.

Safe trip ladies!!! You will both return with great news!

Sending good vibes to everyone interviewing this week!!!!!!

okay my friends...instead of being outside in the sun and fresh air, i've decided its better to stress.

just getting all my stuff ready for my journey to Quebec.

1) is anyone bringing the original I 130 package just in case???....I'm looking at the size of it and debating if its necessary...

2) other than registering for courier services (Loomis) and bringing all documents including the interview letter (P4), am I good to go? or is there something I'm forgetting?

Sorry, I am so brain dead.

On top of all of this and worrying stupid about my lease which is up in Dec 2015, its contents, my 3 very young adult kids who will need to rely more on their father and quitting my job (and maybe my 28 year career) soon.....I am being performance reviewed!!!! Yes, its easiest if I just let the cat out of the bag and pass it off but one never knows if I will need this for future reference or not (gosh, i hope i don't) so, because of this, I'm pursuing it and having it done this week!!!!

For us:

At the door, the person asked to see my passport and my loomis confirmation! They didnt ask to see my P4.

Once inside, they only asked to see passport, original of birth certificate, marriage certificate, I864s, police certificate. The person didn't ask for copies either. I didn't bring our I130 package but I bought like ticket stubs and trip/hotel receipts after I130 submission. I took the train and I left right after work so I didnt want to drag more paper than I needed too XDD

If you are going to go early, I would advise you go with a warm jacket cos it was super windy and a little bit cold on friday. The ladies who wore skirts were complaining....I mean if you plan going at 6am, that's 1.5hrs in the cold....something to think about!
