CG123, I wish they had told my husband his result! It seems like you're totally fine though, I wouldn't worry too much. :)

Thank you everyone for being so sweet. We went to Medisys this morning...not what I expected. Most of the time was spent in the huge waiting room. Called back for vaccine record, vision test, and blood drawn (which I was allowed to go in for), then waiting room, called back for xray, then waiting room, called back for examination part, then waiting room. Then paid and we could finally leave.

No one was exactly friendly, but they weren't rude either. They just very obviously did their jobs everyday and were quick and efficient. My husband said the doctor was very nice.

Told us the results would be ready Tuesday after 1pm.

The ONLY scary thing is that the doctor asked my husband if he had seen anyone for psychiatric issues and he told her he's been going to counseling for the past year since his mom died. She asked if it was for depression and he said just because of his mom. She asked if he had anxiety and he jokingly said he was anxious at the moment, then she asked if he'd ever been hospitalized for anything mental health related and he told her how once he called a number looking to set something up with a counselor or something, to get help, and as a legality they told him to take himself to the hospital because they were afraid he'd hurt himself or someone else. So he went. And a psychiatrist saw him for maybe an hour and sent him home after realizing he wasn't going to harm anyone. The doctor today asked if they prescribed him anything and he said no. She asked if he took anything to help him sleep and he said melatonin occasionally. She asked if he was on any medication now and he said no.

There's nothing to worry about...right? She's not going to have marked him as inadmissable or anything? It's so annoying we won't be able to know the results. :(

Nothing to worry about.

Oh and it doesn't mean anything except that you have chronic disease. which you know. which doesn't make you ineligible to get to the U.S. - last time I checked lots of Americans had chronic diseases too.

And no, I wasn't told anything except that all was "fine." I will take that! :)

And also - when do you get into Montreal before our interviews?

Glad you made it on time and had an easy process!! Ya, I'm not worried about it being a problem (especially since he told me it wasn't), it's more feeling like a second rate citizen haha (class B...grrr) though it really shouldn't bother me because I don't think anything is worse then being referred to as an "alien" in all the paperwork thus far! We are all foreign creatures with bulgy eyes and tentacles. I mean seriously...is there not a better word they could use??

I will be arriving in Montreal some time Thursday evening. I am meeting my husband in Mississauga around noon and then picking up my medical results (god I hope!!) along the way. Not sure how long the drive is...6ish hours? We almost decided to take the train!! It was just going to be too much though trying to get to Vaughan for my results and then downtown that we just decided to road trip it instead! What time are you getting in? Where are you staying? We are at the Best Western Europa.

LOL I know what you mean!!:) but, A+ Girl, that's the way it goes… we get labelled. I am Canadian yet for their purposes I am still an Eastern European, and I've been reading horror stories on here about people put in AP who weren't born here… needless to say, I am done reading THOSE.

I am taking the train!!!!! So excited;) I get in around 8 p.m. ish, and I am staying at the Marriott Courtyard. Mind you, I doubt I will sleep much!!

Every once in a long while I see someone who seems to have got the wrong entry person who says don't come into later, but I've seen it very rarely in the forums

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

Thank you. I would still show up at 7 if I had to do it again. I rather hang out at timmy's or walk back to my hotel (its within 10mins walk) .

Yeah. Seems like I just got "unlucky". But still got approved so can't complain too much. I mean this is 2 years in the making... waiting extra hour is not much if we compare to the whole process :rofl::rofl: I hope I get the waybill in 2-3 like yours did!!!!!
