Thanks for the positive vibes!!! Something weird has being going on since I arrived; I have being jogging pass the embassy btw 6.30 -7.00am (sometimes even 7.15am) just to get a better idea of the number of people queued, to my greatest surprise, I haven't seen a single soul  . I know I pass by the exact spot but just wondering if why I haven't seen the ridiculous queue or is it possible that interviews aren't scheduled everyday in montreal. Just curious!

interesting!!! you know, I am becoming very cynical, but I wouldn't put it past them to create the most inconvenience to us possible by scheduling us all on the same days:)

That's SO AWESOME that you got your passport/visa back already NAT!!! Gives me hope that I will in fact be able to go home when I'm planning on it

Hey twochickies it would have been so cool if we were driving to Charlotte the same time .... Road trip lol

That would be so fun!! Although since we discovered we cannot drive our car with a trailer attached, we are getting rid of everyyyything and are just going to be one loaded down little red car with a screaming dog in the backseat  , so you guys might be traveling a lot faster than us! But I bet we'd be a hoot to follow and watch!

We could totally get together sometime for coffee once we're home in NC though :star:

-------------------------------------------

Leaving in about 3 hours for the airport. I'm going to be so dead tomorrow. I do NOT do well without sleep. :girlwerewolf2xn::diablo:

But this means we are almost, almost there!

NAT - do you think they will care if I have my clear folders in a black binder? Do they need to see all documents clearly, or is it ok to bring a binder with an opaque cover? Similar to my supporting evidence- sigh, I have a lot of it. It's in a flexible folder with clear files but the cover is black. I have no idea how i am going to walk all these sensitive documents to the consulate without a bag. Urgh.

We made it!!! After taking a much needed nap, we walked around for a few hours. Checked out the consulate, Medisys, and ate some delicious vegetarian poutine and burgers at Comptoir 21.

Seeing the consulate was such a weird experience. Being here at all is so bizarre. It's like up until this point the process has been all online or some papers in the mail. Actually being in Montreal, seeing this looming building and knowing so many people have done this before us makes it so much more real. Weird.

I think we're gonna hang out at the pool for a while and I'm going to watch the last episode of Married at First Sight tonight because luckily that channel is not in French and it's so nice to just stop worrying about things. I watch bad TV, I know. ;)

I'll let you ladies know how the medical goes tomorrow! The guy at the front desk seemed very used to people asking where Medisys was in the building, hahaha.
