Did you decide for sure you need to move it?

I'm starting to super worry about getting my medical results in time before my interview. My appointment is on a Wednesday and then I leave for Montreal on Thursday a week later. Does anyone know about Dr. Zatzman? I need my passport back ASAP after my interview and can't afford a delay. I should have called around maybe...I know it will be too late now though.

DId you talk to their office? The other doc offices have been pretty good at NOT booking if they can't offer the results on time. Medisys might still have appointments on the 15th if you are that worried. That one extra day off on Monday is really screwing with our medical appts.

I think I'm just going to stress and hope for the best...that they wouldn't have booked it if they couldn't do it. I may even resort to crying for the doctor if I think it will help...

Okay! I'm going to hold you to that promise! ;)

Ha ha… I have problems with thinking before writing/speaking;) But I AM willing to be held to that this time. I have a good feeling.

Don't worry guys. I am sitting here worrying this issue to death too… almost bought a ticket to BC I cannot afford b/c Dr. Cheema only takes a day and has appts early in May. But I talk myself down to - relax, others have done Medisys with no problems in three days, and the other docs too. Very few stories out there of people NOT getting them in time so. We all (myself including very much) need to relax. Especially since we are in the home stretch!!! Think of all the folks still waiting. At least we are done that bit, which is very much a good thing.

Heya, you're not missing anything. It's the courier site, and yeah, I did register but only after CanadianGirl kindly pointed me in the direction of the consular website with all the instructions: http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Supplemental/MTL%20-%20Montreal.pdf

That's what we are here for.

Yeah, they really don't make the consular instructions super clear or easy to find, lol.

Also, make SURE you have your spouse/partner/joint sponsor's 1040 and w2 for 2014. I got an email YESTERDAY asking for it, while I was at work, and panicked--not realizing that yes, I had that already--because I'm leaving TODAY.

That's right, today after work, I get on the megabus to Montréal and tonight, close to midnight, I check into my hostel. Tomorrow's the medical with Medisys.

Only thing I'm still fretting over is, even though Medisys takes debit and credit as well as cash, do you think I should take cash? Seems like it would be just my luck for their debit machines to be down at my appointment....

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

Seriously! I think I've used up all my bad luck for the trip, though. Went to pull cash out for the hostel and the machine shorted me by twenty dollars! That's never happened to me before. Called the machine people and apparently it's more common with the new plastic twenties than it's ever been before, so count your plastic money, guys! They'll have the money back in my account in a few days.
