I asked "Hi, yes, I was wondering if there are any updates to my case?" The lady responded with "Yes, actually, your case was completed today." I then asked her if she had any estimate on when I might get an email with an interview date in it, and she said no, because they have no idea how many interviews Montreal will schedule or when they'll schedule them.

Judging from dwheels' spreadsheet for CC-Interview, it looks like probably the interview will be scheduled the first week in April and we'll probably get a late May interview, but obviously that's just my best guess.

I am really glad that you got your CC. This is the most frustrating thing, being stuck because I rarely send anything paper anymore and figure since it's 2015 email might be the thing to do. Sigh. i don't know how any of this is possible. I've had some really good NVC reps, although they still don't give me much info. But the most recent lady was very very rude, and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she asked me if "is that what you want? really? to wait an extra 42 days?" I was so taken aback by the patronizing rudeness, I had nothing to say. I just hung up. Then burst out into tears because I was SO MAD.

Oh and I totally missed the post where you started this! And I totally understand why you started a separate one. It does make me super upset too when I see the scan dates who are getting CCs in the paper queue. Happy for them, but upset at the unfairness of it all. So thank you for doing this. I am starting to think the NVC has something against Canada;)

And fyi - I just wanted a supervisor not because I thought I could possibly have a CC but because of the mess with the second sets of documents.

I am just so tired of all of this. It is going to be a year in a week and a half, and we are still stuck.

That SUCKS, mag. I get that they work in really poor conditions, with quotas and under a lot of pressure. I do. But show some compassion, NVC!

It's pretty obvious to some of us that Electronic Processing is far behind paper processing. Ariani has done EXCELLENT work with the NVC tracking spreadsheet for case completes (found here), while the ever wonderful Saylin has the incredibly detailed spreadsheet for every step of the process (found here).

What I'm proposing is a simplified spreadsheet for EP applicants so we can keep an eye on where EP is, at a glance, without adding more to Ariani or Saylin's workload with their amazing spreadsheet or having to see how far ahead everyone else is every time we want to estimate our own timelines.

So here's the new one for those of us waiting for EP.

Thank you.

thank you thank you thank you for doing this :idea:

Either that or each of us is meant to believe that VisaJourney and the internet is an individual conspiracy made up for each of us specifically to mess with our head.

as if we don't have enough to do already! seriously folks at the nvc we have no better use of time than to concoct stories???? argh!!!

Hey... instead of creating a new spreadsheet why don't you help me run the current one? I have already added a new tab for you EP folks. Once my case is complete I doubt that I will run that thing by myself. Ideally I would like for the next person to pick it up from me, and the next person after that person, and so on.

let me know if you're interested

Sincerely,

Arian

thank you for doing this ariani....i thought it was a good idea when I asked but didn't know how involved it was. appreciate your troubles.

==================

on a separate note....what would happen if us EP'ers sent in paper copies of all our stuff now? we've been seriously thinking this. so, it could throw off our EP date but seriously...people are getting cc's in 38 days.

thinking too that all the newbies should get heads up about this. 70 days vs 40ish...its a no brainer to me. how do we let them know, especially the canadian folks?

=================

lastly Not a Tailor, can you please add us to your canadian ss. thanks.

I know I was thinking of it too BUT you have no guarantees that the NVC will not suddenly slow down in April because of Easter, or floods or the end of the world that only happened in NH or something. I would just rather not do ANYTHING that will give them an excuse to make it slower for me. I feel like they revel in it. Even though I know no one really cares and they are just doing a job.

I still haven't got a scan date officially in writing. got a verbal march 17 from natalie on friday which blew our weekend and left me in tears all of friday night and saturday. we called this morning and spoke with waldo who was far more useful and confirmed our feb date and looked into our file as best as he could confirming my ds260 date. he also said we may not get the 60 day greeting letter. but, if march 17 was really our scan date, heck I'd be resubmitting everything overnight!!!

now i'm left wondering if there is a canadian conspiracy happening????? lol

You know, I've gotten SO much wrong information, some of it might derail our application a bit, which makes me mad!!!! I would just go with what you KNOW should happen, and I think any of the NVC reps that actually seem to dig a bit tend to have given me somewhat accurate information. So go with the Feb 17th scan date as the Waldo guy told you, because I SERIOUSLY doubt March 17th is the right date. It's like them telling me none of my docs are there. Some of them are just clueless (or too lazy to think out of the box).

And hey, at least hating on Canadians gives me a REASON for all of this madness. I'd rather have a stupid explanation than none at all (especially since I KNOW not all of us EP filers are Canadian, we just happen to have a contingent).

OMG guys… I just got a checklist for all of my IV documents. What the hell???? aaahhhhhhh

Oh and my AOS documents too. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENING??? This is the SECOND checklist email for all of our stuff in 2 weeks, yet when I called they said they got our email on Feb 12th.

I don't get it.

Never mind. I just noticed that others who got this long checklist with all missing tend to be "false" checklists. That's false checklist #2!!! Thank goodness this time I am smarter and will not send them anything!:) I wonder if they pay your medical bills for giving you small heart attacks every time.
