Anyone doing medical in Toronto?

If I got a call back tomorrow, I still might, but if I don't have the call back tomorrow, I'm going a week tomorrow to Montreal and keeping the appointment I booked at Medisys. Two of three said no and the third in Toronto hasn't called back, but I'm not holding my breath. This timeline is too tight, but I can do it!

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

It's MINDBLOWING exciting!! I am so happy. Now of course I found something new to stress about - booking the medical appointment!!!! I am on call the weekend before and after my interview, and of course it's Victoria Day on Monday, so I really hope ANY doctor will get me in for a quick appointment. I do hope it's possible!!! But overall, I think it's really really cool. I just feel so ridiculously happy right now. But tired. But happy. But tired… and so on;)

The problem is how tight my timeline is. No one but Medisys has been able, so far, to guarantee they'll have the labs back by the correct day. I can't take tomorrow off work due to a staffing issue and that was the only day they could guarantee the labs back at the one place in Toronto (I think it was Lee?) that even had a hope in heck of it happening. I've only got fourteen days to get it all done and that's causing some issues--most people aren't as urgent as that, I think.

Elena at http://www.visadoctor.ca/was super helpful in meeting my needs. I know it tight but you should give it a try, the worst she can say is no, then you do it montreal. When i did this last time in 2011 they only conducted these kinds of medicals in early morn and on certain days. This office does them all day, everyday. You just might luck out.

btw, im thinking of doing the megabus now too...although its a red eye in but the bus depot is sooooo close to the embassy its hard not to say no. i dreading doing the 747 ride from the airport to the embassy on my own last time as i don't read french and hadn't paid too much attention to the route I need to take (bus and subway). the megabus sounds pretty relaxing although i'd be sleeping in a bus....overnight.

I didn't even ask, tbh. I was just so glad to hear a yes for an appointment.

Dr M was a straight up no. I'm waiting on Dr zatzman, but expect that to be a no as well. Lee could accommodate if I could be there today and I cannot for several reasons be anywhere until Monday. So I took the appointment at medisys in Montreal and will have to take extra time off work for it.

My move will likely be the end of may as my wife is going to come to Toronto after exams are over for a vacation. I promised to take her to the zoo.

Oh great. I hope she's feeling better.

I just booked my medical and our case file still at NVC. I'm trying to see if I can make the interview date. But does anyone know if it is okay to fly domestic without passport? I haven't booked ticket because of it. (Edited: okay I checked website and said it is ok if have 2 ids.. but any hassle though?)

Do we need a revised I864? Or we just need to supply W2, taxtranscript/1040 for 2014? Trying to get my husband and joint sponsor to send stuff asap.

So I just booked my medical with Dr. Zatzman in Vaughan. They booked it for May 13 and said that was it for availability and the next available was May 26...which would be a little too late for my interview as it's on the 22nd. Just thought I'd let everyone know to call somewhere ASAP if you haven't already. The lady said that they have been bombarded with calls today and she didn't know what was going on. I explained to her that we have all been waiting for about a month and then all of a sudden we all got our letters yesterday.
