Have you asked to have your case escalated to a supervisor?

That's what I did, and even after that it took another 5 working days.

I have not. I stopped calling over a week ago because they weren't even answering questions, just repeating 'is there anything else I can help you with?' over and over.

How did you get the supervisor to look at your case? We requested to speak to a supervisor and both times we got a voice mail and no one bothered to call us back. Yours was past 70 days when you called?

I think you should escalate since you are at 70 day mark too! We are planning to call them and try by Thurs/Friday.

I spoke with the CSR that answered the phone and got the same scripted answers I'd got before, so while I didn't ask to speak to a supervisor, I asked that my case be escalated to a supervisor immediately for review.

And yes, it was past 70 days. I had been calling 2 - 3 times a week and had even emailed, although I still don't have an answer to my email LOL

NVC take more than 40 days to reply to emails. lol It's very astonishing!

Okay. If we dont hear anything by Thursday. We will try. I think Not a Tailor should do that asap! It's amazing that they kept saying VJ people here are lying to all of us and VJ is one big conspiracy. It's like I understand EP process is quite new. Servers are new. Setup are new. They can ask us to be a bit patient (even thought its around 30 days more than snail mail at the moment) and in reality we dont have much choice but to comply and wait it out. But at least we feel slightly better knowing the reason about the delay. And not check CEAC frantically every hour ... at least that's what I've been doing for the past week ... lol

It's pretty obvious to some of us that Electronic Processing is far behind paper processing. Ariani has done EXCELLENT work with the NVC tracking spreadsheet for case completes (found here), while the ever wonderful Saylin has the incredibly detailed spreadsheet for every step of the process (found here).

What I'm proposing is a simplified spreadsheet for EP applicants so we can keep an eye on where EP is, at a glance, without adding more to Ariani or Saylin's workload with their amazing spreadsheet or having to see how far ahead everyone else is every time we want to estimate our own timelines.

So here's the new one for those of us waiting for EP.

Once my case is complete I doubt that I will run that thing by myself. Ideally I would like for the next person to pick it up from me, and the next person after that person, and so on.

I asked "Hi, yes, I was wondering if there are any updates to my case?" The lady responded with "Yes, actually, your case was completed today." I then asked her if she had any estimate on when I might get an email with an interview date in it, and she said no, because they have no idea how many interviews Montreal will schedule or when they'll schedule them.

Judging from dwheels' spreadsheet for CC-Interview, it looks like probably the interview will be scheduled the first week in April and we'll probably get a late May interview, but obviously that's just my best guess.

Ah so CC is today!!! Really wish for a CC too. So afraid of a checklist when the wait is so horrendous. Can't imagine our 2 year old doesnt get to see his daddy for extra 2+ months. sigh.

I did this more because the wait times are so much longer for EP folks that just looking at the other is super discouraging and was making me cry. People a month behind us are now ahead of us and so this is literally because it's tear-worthy, at least for me, to even LOOK at the other. Thank you for adding the tab, though.
