Congrats to everyone recently released from TSC black hole. We still have heard nothing. Day 267

In early Nov I told myself to think positive. For sure we'd be approved very soon and I flew to Mexico. Now a full month later still nothing.

How can it possibly take this long? I think I will need to go back to the US before we can get an interview and return AGAIN in late March, for the 3rd time since applying. I'm so demoralized by all of this.

We don't post very often, but we also wish to extend congratulations to all who have been approved!

Sadly, we are on day 260 and still waiting for any kind of sign - an RFE, rejection, NOA2 - something to suggest that USCIS has even peeked at our application in the last 8 1/2 months.

If you guys haven't reached out to your representatives, I would recommend you should. After they did an inquiries on our behalf, we got a reply from TSC within 2 weeks. Hope you guys is approved soon.

Dear all,

Congrats to those who have recently been approved.

To the others, contact your Congressional representative! Have them call their Congressional liaison. This is ridiculous.

All the best!

Thanks ant330. I can't get a person at Senator Schumer's office either. I've called 6 times and emailed once. Today they put me on hold for over 15 minutes. No one came back to the phone. I gave up and called USCIS who said they are still within processing times -And it's easy to be within processing times if it only moves forward by 3 days every 3 months. They claim they are still working on Feb 23. What a ###### joke

So to do the math means that it might take another 24 months to get to March 17

But really what's another 2 years?? This should be relatively easy.

It won't be hard to fly back and forth and forego medical care, will it?

I love how it *#### my cursing. Dear God that's my sole vocabulary at this point.

I almost gave up waiting, yours will come soon, ours was a very straight forward case, submitted by a good immigration attorney and it still took 286 days. I so hope you get yours soon.

Please, please try again. I really want your NOA2 to come! Try filling out their online form for visa's again. Try the same with your Congressional representative for your zip code too. You should have two, but probably one is specific for your zip code - try both.

You guys have been waiting so long and the whole "within processing time frames" is abusive! I really hate that you are having to endure this. I am rooting for you jess! I want all the last TSC filers to have an exodus, but it's several months too late for that. These petitions can get approved within a day - there's no point in delaying any further!

Jess,

It's your Congressperson's job to help their constituents. I don't know where you are, but you should contact your Congressperson on Monday morning.

Thanks for your post. I've called so many times-it's almost better to call USCIS because at least they answer the phone.

Will try again on Monday and I'm actually in the process of sending a privacy release form to Senator Gillibrand-our other Senator. Her office seems way more responsive.

Can USCIS move the processing date backwards? I'm wondering if they will try that next so that no one is outside of the "processing date"

"Oh yes, last month we were working on Feb 23 but now we are working on January petiions."

Is the anyone else from March still waiting for TSC ?

We are officially at 9 months today since they say they received it.

275 days

  • 23,760,000 seconds
  • 396,000 minutes
  • 6600 hours
  • 275 days
  • 39 weeks and 2 days

This is just awful, jess! What happened when you reached out to your other Congressperson? Are you just emailing them, or are you filling out their online release form, signing it and sending it back to them?
