Hi guys,

Keep your spirits up - it will happen!

Had my interview at the London Embassy yesterday and was approved. Planning to fly next weekend.

This journey is a marathon and arguably the hardest thing you'll ever go through together but I really believe it sets us all up for the future. What could be more challenging than this?!

Cheers.

Congrats on making it through! When are you planning to make your POE?

And big congrats to all the recent approvals!

Thank you! :) My fiance just received his visa this week. He is not planning on entering until end of December, he needs to tie up things with work, and wanted to spend his last holidays with his family. Hopefully I will be able to spend it with him in Ireland. Plus we have our wedding all planned for February 13th, so didn't want to enter too soon before then.

Our K-1 journey:

3/2/2015- Petition sent Fedex overnight

3/3/2015- Petition received (NOA1 according to USCIS website)

3/5/2015- Paper NOA1 notice date

9/1/2015- NOA2!! (182 days)

9/4/2015- sent to NVC

9/17/2015- finally got through to NVC and case number assigned

9/24/2015-Status changed to "in transit"

9/29/2015-Dublin Embassy Received

9/29/2015-Packet 3 Received

10/7/2015- Medical scheduled

10/7/2015- Packet 3/readiness sent (Dublin Embassy needs medical complete before readiness is sent)

253 Days....still nothing happening.....Not sure what's going on in there....

Oh Dear God 253 days.

I'm at 243, and beginning to wonder if they lost my application, and maybe yours too. Have you contacted your Senator or anyone?

I have and it was no help. They don't call back either, they don't put anyone on the phone who knows anything. They just say "we are looking into it".

Children! Children would be more challenging than this.

Did you ask to speak to the person handling your case when you called the senator's office to make sure they got your release form? Did you contact both senators?

The first one I contacted said they couldn't help me.

I contacted my other senator and when I called to make sure they received my release, he said someone would be contacting me before they checked into my case. No one ever called me. I got my approval and didn't connect the two until I got a letter from the 2nd senator's office that said they contacted USCIS 8 days before I was approved.

Keep doing all you can and when you've done all you can- just hold on tight.

Thanks for the information. I am in the process of contacting the other senator. It seems someone else contacted their senator and then got approved as well (without knowing for sure if that was what pushed the petition)

Thanks for the support as well.
