Our NAO1 was March 17th,still waiting to hear that one big word APPROVED.... can someone please help me understand about the new proceesing time update we see on USCIS website stating as of AUG 31st processing timeframe is FEB 20th. I mean do we need to read that as of AUG 31st they were looking at FEB 20th cases? if so then its almost 45 days from AUG 31st so are they not suppossed to be working on cases of MARCH by now?I simply dont get this..This is really frustrating...on the flip side atleast hearing good news that few March filers are getting there approval...CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO HAD THERE APPROVAL ?????

The new USCIS "processing" times are out. I don't know what to make of this. So as of August 31st, which was a month and a half ago, TSC was working it's oldest case dated February 20th? That means their oldest case was nearly six and a half month old at that time.......I smell something stinky... Are people able to use that as evidence that March cases are past the processing time? Such as if this chart is showing cases being worked within six and a half months and March cases are now going on seven months, does that count as "past normal processing times"?

Hi guys,

I have more information regarding that. Actually after several calls, my fiance told me that July 31st or now August 31th is not to take into consideration at all because it is a "website bug" well well well.

That mean that on the 15 th of october they were processing the files of the 20th of february.

It seems non sens to me as some march files were already approved since a long time, but for a part of us regarding this stats, our files should be approved (or not :/ ) by the end of october=> if we follow their logic.

I just contacted Senator Thom Tillis' office and spoke with Rebecca Briles. I have sent over my consent release and information... then she informs me that she cannot even inquire about the case until AFTER they are "officially" processing my NOA1 date on the website....

Who's come across this?

Sorry for the silence lately- I was in Nigeria with my love!

I think other people have had the same experience but I don't remember who. Some others were told by their reps that 6 months is too long, and it will be looked into.

Some people think that USCIS is purposely not updating the processing dates on their page so that it always appears to be within the "official" time frame. I don't understand how TSC, who hasn't received ANY new cases since March can still be backlogged. What are they doing there? We are just over 7 months now (217 days) That's 7 times as long as CSC.

I am beyond depressed and exhausted by all of this.

I'm right there with you... goodness. I know we aren't there and don't know what they're truly doing but it's nonsense that people that filed after us already have their visas....
