I came by my senator local office to drop off the privacy release form that they sent me on Monday. They said I needed to file it out and signed it before they could do an inquiry on my behalf. I also included a letter to senator Lankford with all the data that I collected since March, showing the differences in processing time between TSC and CSC. I have been printing out all the processing updates on the USCIS website. Including the March 27th workload transfer. One of the staff member states that they will contact me within a week with an update. I am also planning to visit my other senator local office next week with the same documents.

Big thumbs up. Don't be down if the first "inquiry" is a canned one. Keep contacting the senator and persist on having he/she advocate on your behalf.

What's happening at TSC???????

Hi. We applied in late February 2015 and got NOA1 dated March 2. We haven't heard anything for seven months. I got impression they got slow down a lot since this August and they haven't approved many for February and March applications. But I saw lots of applications dated June to August approved. Does anybody know why???

Starting March 27th, all new applicants are automatically sent to CSC.

My date is March 3. They were processing so many March 3 cases then they suddenly stopped. I subscribe to immifairy, and it seems they have 39 March 3 cases left to process for the past few weeks. Looks to me I'll be in one of those 39!

Us too! March 9 here!

Sending out a Special Thanks to Kyle for his feedback along the Journey. We were able to change our interview date from December 7 to October 20, thanks to his instruction. (sigh)

Hat's Off To Ya, Master Kyle!!!

can you please point us to the post where it's explained how to do that?

There was no post. He gave me the information personally.

In a nutshell, when you Escape from TSC, (approval and shipped to NVC) Your Petition receives a Case file and is sent to your Embassy. Your beneficiary must do 2 things, (pertaining to the interview date). Your beneficiary must go online and print a pass receipt to take to the in-country specific bank to pay the Visa fee, and Keep that receipt. Then they must log on to CEAC and start a profile to fill out (electronically) the DS-160, which is a Nonimmigrant Visa Application. When finished and accepted, it displays a DS-160 confirmation Page. That also must be printed to take to the interview.

It is important to remember that your beneficiary's medical Must be completed before going to the interview at the embassy, so ideally, your beneficiary should contact the appropriate medical facility and schedule an appointment before choosing an interview appointment date.

The Visa Payment Receipt and DS-160 Confirmation receipt each have a receipt number. Those two numbers are used at the USTRAVELDOCS website. Your beneficiary should create a profile with an email address and password, as well as those two receipt numbers. Once that is done, and the questions answered about local shipping addresses and phone numbers, CEAC Case file number etc., a calendar is made accessible for choosing the best Interview Appointment Date.

When we did all of that, after cutting every time corner possible, the nearest date available for us was December 7th. That Sucked, but the soonest calendar that we could even view was December.

However,

Kyle suggested that we can change our appointment up to 2 times, and that we should check back on the USTRAVELDOCS website often (email address and password are all that's needed to login) and watch for sooner dates to appear if anyone cancels or changes their interview date.

Today, I checked a couple dozen times, and each time, only December calendar was available.

But, tonight as we were translating documents via Skype and preparing for the Far Distant December 7th interview, I hopped on Ustraveldocs webpage, via a link that I saved when we signed up for the Dec. 7th date, and SHAZAM!!!

there on the screen were open dates in October and November.

Here is the scary part. You have to first cancel your current appointment, and then step back thru the already filled out pages of information to get back to the calendars, (about a 3 minute gauntlet), choose your best available date, it appears in a line below the calendars, (check the box next to the selected date) and hit SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT.

then hold your breath while it swirls around and around, before announcing Appointment Successfully Scheduled.

Then you have the option to email or print your confirmation. Do both. Eventually, depending on your beneficiary's particular country, they should send you (packet 4) which is an official Embassy Appointment Letter. You must take that to the interview too, to get into the building.

(whew)!!!

Kyle's instruction to check back on Ustraveldocs and watch for a chance to move the interview forward to a sooner date just shaved 7 weeks off of Our Journey.
