OMG that is infuriating when ImmiFairy is showing most of June CSC filers approved already. I am starting to get seriously depressed...

I completely understand your feeling... but I want to humbly offer some perspective, in the form of a true story, that happened to me.

Many years ago, I was driving through a town in Texas with a car-full of friends. We were in a hurry to get where we were going. A car that was behind us sped up and passed me. However, immediately after passing me and pulling in front of me, that car slowed down . . . and then slowed some more.

This made me angry! The driver of that car could have slowed down when he was behind me. I get SO IRRITATED when someone gets in front of me and then slows down, impeding my progress and delaying me from arriving at my desired destination.

Then a truck blew threw a Stop Sign from a side street and knocked the car 50 yards down the opposite side street. One second, the offending car was right in front of me, and the next there was the loud BANG of busting metal and shattering glass, and the car (and truck) were gone.

If that car had not passed me and then slowed me down, the truck would have T-Boned my car and my friends riding with me would have been hurt or even killed.

What I took from that near catastrophe, is that 'We may never know the reasons WHY things happen as they do. There are Unseen Benefits and Catastrophes Avoided, that we are never aware of. So even though I get frustrated at life's seemingly unfair situations, I have found Peace in giving thanks in all things.

I share your frustration at how fast petitions at CSC are approved. But being furious will only allow the stress that accompanies that Fury to damage my health, and make me unpleasant to be around. So, I am choosing to wait patiently, (for now) and make use of this wait time to prepare for my coming Bride.

Be Blessed This Day,

Tom

I find it very interesting that there have been no March approvals since July 1 on VJ. I only see a small handful on Immifairy. Get ready for a landslide of approvals

K-1 Journey

2/27/2015: Sent I-129F to Black Hole in Texas:
3/13/2015 NOA1 Received by snail mail:
8/18 2015 ; NOA2 APPROVED. Perfect timing since Linh's current B1/B2 visa stay expires in 3 days and heads back to Vietnam
8/24/2015: NOA2 Shipped to Department of State (DOS) - National Visa Center (NVC)
9/1/2015: NVC Received NOA2 Package and have assigned a Case Number!
9/22/2015: Received PKT3... Finally..... Can now make appointment for Medical Examination
9/28/2015: Medical Exam - Took 3 days... Cho Ray is a mess. Vaccinations delayed until passing Interview because of shortage of vaccinations in Vietnam
10/7/2015: Interview at Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and APPROVED!!!!
10/22/2015 K1 Visa in hand. Son's K2 visa only valid for 6 months (W-T-F-?) Thought good for 1 year. Inquire at consulate and told visa good only as long as the medical which is 6 months K2 VISAS NOT GOOD FOR 1 YEAR AS ADVERTISED ON DOS WEBSITE!
10/29/2015 POE Chicago; Easiest pass through for Linh in her 4 previous entries.
11/2/2015: Not tuned in enough to Social Security not to pick "the first day of the month" to try to get signed up. Read VJ advice, it's spot on, we had a processor who knew K1. We were in the SAVE database in 3 days so it was easy after a 2 hour wait.

I'm sensing trickle, not landslide. I see the Immifairy reports each processing day and there still isn't any real trending that suggests that approvals are accelerating anymore. It was easy to see that the TSC was scattering approvals over a few months to water down the processing window, but not much else. The March approvals were either lottery picks or expedited cases. With that said I still hold hope that it is coming soon. Still the data does not lie.

After another Long and Lonely weekend, I was finally able to see the real numbers at TSC. :ranting:

How does it look Tom?

Are ours August-September "hopes" really impossible??

Currently they seem to be processing a mixed bag. Half of the approvals are still from 2014 (pray for their strength and sanity), and the other half from 2015 petitions.

However, they seem to be pulling files from across a rolling

60-day +/- cross section:

Some from Early-Jan, Mid-Jan, Late-Jan ~ and a fewer number from Early-Feb, Mid-Feb, Late-Feb, with just a sprinkle lifted from March.

The larger share of the 60-day selection set is from Early-Jan, tapering to the smaller share in Late-Feb.

So, bottom line is, Yes, Aug or Sept hopes are really possible, but there will be a measure of Luck involved, as to whether or not your file is selected sooner than those next to you.

The sheer VOLUME of files is the depressing part.....

If you know how to use Excel, you can build a spreadsheet and painstakingly input all of the TSC Petitions, found here:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=3&sortby=2

and use formula to extract the time between NOA1 and NOA2 from the filtered 'Approved" listing, found here:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=3&option=1&sortby=2

It takes a long time to input all of the data, but with the Lonely Weekends (thanks TSC....< not! > ..., it helps to pass the time). It also gives a bit of insight when you compare the average number of monthly petitions listed here on VJ, against the posted monthly I-129f petitions that USCIS lists on their website. talk about OMG.... (followed by) ... WFT?!?!? (meaning of course, We're Far from There...)^^ VJ shows around 200-250 per month, and USCIS shows about 20,000 additions per month, with a 18,000 +/- hold-over from month to month. They NEVER seem to gain any ground....

Like I said, the VOLUME is so Depressing..... But, we will get there.... someday...

Igor's timeline tells the story, even if it is far from empirical. About two weeks ago the estimated adjudication date was sitting in a two week window, with the tail end being the end of September. Now its a five week window that extends to October 10. What the data is saying is right, even Igor doesn't know. Unless the TSC is staffing up my money is on October, if sadly, November. I hope I am wrong.

I said to my senate liaison today it would be less painful for me to relocate to a state serviced by the CSC, withdraw my TSC petition, refile and wait. I would most likely get my NOA2 from California before I will get it from Texas. Many seem to be concerned about being vocal to government for fear of reprisal. I'm concerned about not being vocal and leaving all the disappointment in a forum.

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT!!!

In March when we filed for our 129F, after much study I said that I thought we would get our 129F on August 11th. I know that my model is off today because of the larger volume of others that have signed up on VJ that I did not anticipate. My model is saying more like September... but hey....... I will say TONIGHT!!!

I hope I can get lucky. I already am, with my future wife Linh. I have the good fortune that she is with me right now on a B1/B2 visa so my wait has not been with pain for the last 5.5 mon. Her I-94 will allow her to stay for 10 more days so she will be departing soon and I will be miserable like the rest of the Black Hole Crew.

Good Luck to ALL. Maybe the Black Hole will disappear in the next 60 days!!

I am cheering for you and I am holding my breath at the same time. Seriously, nothing would make me happier than seeing anyone in this exile get their NOA2 already. I'd be happier if it is me, but I am cheering for everybody at this point. Continued strength to all the March 2015 filers at the TSC.
