The Pew Research center recently did a study on the views of scientists versus the view of the average citizen on various topics to see where the widest gaps existed. Some of the results are pretty surprising and shows what groups are doing a better job of spreading their particular brand of nonsense.

For example on expanding Fracking: 31% of AAAS scientists think this is a good idea while 39% of the public does, an 8 point gap.

- Requiring MMR vaccines: 8 point gap (68% vs 86% - I thought the anti-vaccine crowd was doing a better job)

- Increasing population will be an increasing problem: 23 point gap (59% vs 82%)

- Humans have evolved over time: 33 point gap (65% vs 98% - that's embarrassing)

- Climate Change is human caused: 37 point gap (50% vs 87% - about what I would expect with the propaganda and difficult to explain science)

- Favors use of animals in testing: 42 Point gap (47% vs 89% - heartless bastards!)

- GMO Foods are safe to eat: 51 point gap (37% vs 88% - biggest gap of all gaps, its become a political and anti-US issue)

We need one of these on politicians  This will show you really how disconnected the people who are running our country, scientist and politicians, are disconnected from the real world.

- Humans have evolved over time: 33 point gap (65% vs 98% - that's embarrassing) So do they still think we are evolving from Gorillas?

I didn't realize how immoral scientists were.

oh yeah, you should check this out.

For several hundred years, much of scientific advance has been about exploring human beings, including their actions and choices, in terms of mechanism — our bodies, our brains, physical processes. Research psychologist Michael McCullough believes that understanding our minds as mechanistic creates moral possibility. He’s led groundbreaking studies on the evolution and cultivation of moral behaviors such as forgiveness and gratitude. Arthur Zajonc is a physicist and contemplative, who believes that the farthest frontiers of science are bringing us back to a radical reorientation towards life and the foundations for our moral life.

The phrasing was bad.. It was a general question about a belief in evolution.

Some humans have evolved over time. Others not so much. I would love to take you on a driving tour of South GA and discuss the subject.
