USCIS is run like an insane asylum! I called today and was told we will respond to your request of being over processing times in 30 days. WHAT?!?! You go 8 months without doing squat and go over processing time, and then give me an rfe. You tell me you will have a decision in 60 days, and you don't and go over normal processing times AGAIN. Now you need 30 more days to explain why you can't be accountable and do what you say you will do? Got my congressman's office on it, and was told to give them two weeks to work on it. Go to get an appointment at the local office and you can't get one. IT'S A MAD HOUSE!!!! These people aren't accountable to anyone!

Actually I'm taking some good stuff out of this experience. My fiancee has calmed down and is taking it as it comes now. She realizes I'm fighting the best I can for us, and goes with the flow a lot better these days. If you can get through the horrible TSC experience it's a good tune up for marriage and riding out other situations together as a team.

Yeah we've been doing fine throughout. Never really caused us to start yapping at each other or anything. I've been fighting as hard as I have simply for the reason of avoiding the outcome where I must leave my fiance and our new-born son behind for a while. I mean, I can only take so much vacation from work and then I must return, right? If we can't get through the K1 interview before that hard return date, then that's exactly what will happen: they'll have to stay there and I'll come home alone. What a that would be. And for what??!?! Simply because the TSC is so effed up? Not a good enough reason USCIS, not good enough at all. If we can get the NOA2 in the next few days then we stand an outside chance of avoiding the aforementioned scenario. But at the moment, given the DACA hold and the transfer announcement, it seems like things are even slower than they have been during the past few months.

But I dunno. We'll see I guess. Anyway, this is what gives me the most grief.

We're cruising now. It's USCIS. I think if they look at a file that's not done well they shelve it and pick up another one. I don't think the country has much if anything to do with it for them. NVC had our file out going to Bangkok in 16 days. Nice. It's TSC, they are pathetic.
