Good news! A customer service agent just told me their brand new filing system will make everything 150% effectively slower and sent me a small preview.

:rofl::rofl: That's why it took so long for them to find my case today!

I think this pile is the new filing system for Consular Returns.:rofl::rofl:

OMG! I am rolling on the ground.

While the TSC is a joyous experience for all, we shouldn't forget about the lucky ones who receive an RFE. Remember- this is a golden opportunity to either ignore USCIS' request, or just send them a reply thanking them for all the bliss they've given you so far. If you treat them right, they'll deny your petition, and you can re-file to start the experience again from the beginning!

I know, isn't it just grand, being separated from the ones you love............... missing their birthday (my husbands is tomorrow, and, I really didn't want to bake him a cake and prepare a candle light dinner out on the deck with white lights in the trees)....

Hey folks, it could be worse - you could be stuck in Nebraska with me. Not that it would be bad visiting with me, sometimes I can be funny, but, we would all probably have beards as long as RIP Vans by the time we "get outta Nebraska free"..................

And truly, how petty that we should be jealous, bitter, envious, jaded, and the such, when people filed in February and already have their petition sent to NVC, I mean, seriously folks, we deserve 39 lashes with a wet noodle............

Yeah, I know, I'm trying to get through it, and, I'm sorry for all of you are separated from your loved ones and have been so for longer than I have, and, I haven't been separated from my husband all that long, but in my estimation, it's too darn long!!

Nebraska?? Did someone say Nebraska?? I didn't think we were in Kansas anymore...

To be honest, I'm getting used to talking with my wife on the phone all the time. Maybe we should just keep it this way. We don't need to see each other everyday, do we?? I have tons of money to visit her a couple times a year. Ya know, this would be perfect for raising a child!!! The child could stay with one of us for 3 or 4 months at a time :jest:

Let us all just be honest with ourselves. We are in no hurry, are we?? We need to take it easy in this life and not hurry anything. "One thing at a time" they always say.

I wish you all the best of luck and hope this takes years for you all

Ok here is my two cents..

Those that are unlucky enough to have their visa application go through the TSC certainly have to wait the longest. The system is what it is and for sure could use some reform like placing USC requests for fiancee or marriage visas at the front of the line.

But here is the thing to consider in the whole sarcasim thing.

It is likely that it is the hardest for the immagrating fiancee than it is for the USC because they are having to give up everything for this process of moving to the US.

So as the US citizen that was awaiting my fiancee many months back, I had to be strong for her.

What I mean is that when she was freaking when it was 30-45 days since I submitted the K1 application, I just stayed optimistic with her and we discussed possible plans when she arrived and places we would go and things we would do.

Just keep your attitude up and hang in there so the immagrating fiancee doesn't get mixxed signals as to why the USC isn't showing the feeling of "love".

It is like when one is a parent, if you get upset or angry in front of the kids they becaome a little upset themselves.

Certainly everyone's relationship is a bit different but would one want the immigrating fiancee to be pissed off, worried, sarcastic or is it a different way that fiancee acted that made one fall in love in the first place?

So that is my thinking of why the USC should hang in there.

When we were waiting I just told my fiancee that all governments work slowly and she understood completly.

She expressed worry at how long the process was taking and I told her how much I loved her and it didn't matter I would wait for her!

The immagrating fiancee will look to the USC to lead them through the whole process from visa to marriage and adjustment or status and eventually removal of conditions.

So hang in there, keep her mind on the reason she/he is leaving their country, family and life to come to the US.

Do not be the one to kill your dream by potentially upsetting the immigrating fiancee or letting her loose confidence in you to lead her through the nightmare of govt paperwork.

I am not saying it's ok to have concerns or worries, just make sure they don't get put on the immigrant.

I watched Igors list at VJ constantly when I was waiting on the USCIS K-1 approval to watch the back log get handled slowly getting closer to my filing date.

This way I could track those that got the NOA1 before I did and see when it was getting closer to the time my petition would be looked at.

So I didn't feel alone.

And frankly I never complained because I say the time lines for the TSC last summer and I know as long as I waited. Others waited longer at the TSC.

So those of you waiting on the TSC, just keep creating the dreams you have while you wiat.

Because yes governments are slow!
