Hi d nd r thank u for ur reply. Yup we received a NPIW letter. I am gone follow ur advice, it's so frustrating for all of us.....stay positive.. U can work already right?

we filed AOS 4/14/14 -- it is a long, drawn out process. did you get the NPIW? if so, are they still saying 6 month delay? assuming so, i would start 6 months and 1 day later! i like the old saying, squeaky wheel gets the grease! so, i would try every angle - not sure if it helps, here we are at one week shy of a year, so who knows - but it does feel better to vent and try something - good luck

I have not ever talked to a tier 2. I am tired of getting the routine and helpless response from them. I scheduled an InfoPass appointment this week. Will see if it is going to help.

I called the ombudsman office today because I sent a request on March 16 and still haven't heard from them. I was told that my case wasn't assigned to one of their workers yet and I should call back by the end of the month of I haven't heard anything .... Great ^^

No worries, just make sure you are contacting the correct representative. The form I posted above is specific to Yvette Clark's congressional district (NY9).

Find the rep for your area and visit their website, as they likely will have their own version of this.

Yep, was told on March 31 that my case is in Hialeah, FL. I have an open service request which has been "assigned to an officer for response" since March 30.

Soon, soon I do hope...

Though, it was assigned for a day, then unassigned for 2 days, then reassigned again. The officer at my Infopass appointment said it was assigned to an officer in Hialeah, so it sounds like it went to the New York City field office first and they punted it, maybe.

You should call USCIS, and speak with tier 2. Ask them to open a service request at the office where the application is at.

This afternoon, I got an e-mail form senator office that on 04/01/15 my case has been transferring to the USCIS office in Columbus, OH. It's on the way now. I don't think about getting approval soon as this might take some time for the processing. Will wait and see........

I thought they would transfer many pending cases. Hope all of us who are still waiting get some movement too!

GusippiG gives you the written route which most of us take because we ha e no time...but if you have the time, the warm handshake of you with her immigration staffer puts a real face to your problem...it works...think about it...

If you have to choose a Senator, Sen Gilibrand is your better choice...

The processing time there is faster than my Boston office. Now, they are doing Aug filer as of Jan 31, 15. But don't know if I have to start waiting in the line again.
