I called the ombudsman office today because I sent a request on March 16 and still haven't heard from them. I was told that my case wasn't assigned to one of their workers yet and I should call back by the end of the month of I haven't heard anything .... Great ^^

Thanks everyone. I was at work when all the text/email updates were coming through. Just received Welcome letter notice too. I am so glad this is finally over. We received an RFE on 3/27/15 for her Vaccination document and Bona Fide marriage documents. It turned out she never showed me she had the DS-3025 Vaccination sheet from her K1 medical and I never mailed it along with the initial I-485 application. I sent back the RFE on 3/29/15 containing a copy of her DS-3025, 2014 joint tax return, copy of the latest joint bank account statement, copy of auto insurance cards, copy of health insurance cards, affidavits from my mother and sister and a couple of pictures from our wedding. Reading around here, I was getting paranoid since the RFE mentioned having a form included in the envelope for the vaccination, however no form was to be found and everyone else on VJ was saying that vaccinations were needed to be transcribed to I-694 by a civil surgeon.

We never got a reply notice that the RFE was received and I was starting to think I'm missing a critical document, so I started calling civil surgeons around town. All wanted to do a full medical ranging from $200-$350. So today working 14 hours straight I was thinking I need to canvas civil surgeons again when I have time to set up an appointment. Lo and behold I get a message that the Card was being mailed out to us, then I receive another update that the order for the card to be produced was made.

Now we can go visit Niagara!

oh and I never bothered with Ombudsman. I think reapplying for renewal EAD and finally applying for her AP kickstarted the adjudication.

Anyway she is supposed to have a biometric appointment next Tuesday. Does she still have to go?

Yep, was told on March 31 that my case is in Hialeah, FL. I have an open service request which has been "assigned to an officer for response" since March 30.

The last time I spoke to Tier 2 was some time in early February. Every time I get off the phone with them I end up having more questions that having questions answered. It's just a waste of time calling them because they all really don't know what they are doing. Ugh!

Do the last few letters of the service request case number end with and abbreviation of Hialeah?

Don't give up. Call again tomorrow. Call early and request tier 2. You should have no push back, they should just simply transfer you. Ask where your application is at. If it's still at NBC tell them you want to send a service request to NBC. I know it's discouraging at times, I used to call practically every day. Don't give up.

NYC.

Though, it was assigned for a day, then unassigned for 2 days, then reassigned again. The officer at my Infopass appointment said it was assigned to an officer in Hialeah, so it sounds like it went to the New York City field office first and they punted it, maybe.

I got the same email and was in no mood to answer either.

I get them when I go on the site which isn't often any more. It's worth answering as they ask how much do you trust the staff at the USCIS for looking after your interests or something.

Obviously they didn't get a 10 from me, unfortunately there was no minus 10!

This afternoon, I got an e-mail form senator office that on 04/01/15 my case has been transferring to the USCIS office in Columbus, OH. It's on the way now. I don't think about getting approval soon as this might take some time for the processing. Will wait and see........

I thought they would transfer many pending cases. Hope all of us who are still waiting get some movement too!

How do I know which senator I have to contact about my case? Is there a list or something like that?
