We haven't even recieved a appointment for biometrics

And they received the case 03/06/15

We had my husbands bio done on 03/23. I was wondering if anyone has actually received the card yet . Just wondering how long it takes.

I thought it was this difficult of a process only for family based cases through marriage but that's not the case I also applied for my mothers I-485 n it's now been a year and still nothing Edited April 7, 2015 by Rebor1991

Received an email today from USCIS Feedback wanting to know what I think about the web site. Ha! they don't want my answer. ( I realize it's just a survey about the function of the site itself) But Still! I'm in no mood to answer.

Wow, unbelievable! I have been wondering about getting a job working for USCIS. My husband doesn't think that would be a good idea, He said I would cause a ruckus because of the inefficiency of the whole thing. Ha! He may be right..

Thank you, definitely a bitter sweet day. I feel so happy for my wife but I can't stop thinking about the people on here waiting more than a year. I am convinced that the service request that was finally sent to the correct place, NBC, got things moving for us. The same day that service request was opened was the same day the app was sent to Harlingen, TX. That service request was closed the very next day. Edited April 7, 2015 by espared12

Thank you, definitely a bitter sweet day. I feel so happy for my wife but I can't stop thinking about the people on here waiting more than a year. I am convinced that the service request that was finally sent to the correct place, NBC, got things moving for us. The same day that service request was opened was the same day the app was sent to Harlingen, TX. That service request was closed the very next day.

We have an infopass appt on Monday 04/13. I am hoping (unless the GC is approved this week) that when we go, that the IO we talk to will be able to open a request at that time and see if things will then move. Otherwise I would have sent another SR but I dont want to give them a reason to not open one while we are there because I opened one myself. I am hoping this plan will work.. please keep your fingers crossed!

I am hoping (unless the GC is approved this week) that when we go, that the IO we talk to will be able to open a request at that time and see if things will then move. Otherwise I would have sent another SR but I dont want to give them a reason to not open one while we are there because I opened one myself. I sure will! If it's still at NBC tell them to send the service request there. Your service request number should end with MSC. I don't know why, but I'm convinced that is what did it for us. The best of luck to you!

I think I'm going to pretend I didn't get a reply to my expedite request (in fairness I didn't, I had to raise a SR on it and then an expedite request on the SR) and do an Infopass on Friday morning.

If my case is still at the NBC I see no reason why my local office can't put a case transfer on it and deal with it.
