I guess if you hear from them again it might tell you more. It was SO strange when they sent out all those emails. I guess you never got a reply regarding that?

Yes! Indeed there will be celebrating tonight. My wife actually stayed in Mexico. Only I came back to work after the Easter Holiday. She was dreading re-entry so much, we decided she would stay a few more days. So now with the green card we can tell CBP to go :ranting: !!! lol

Cant help but wonder if this was anything to do with the email you got from the ombudsman last week. I guess we will only find out if the other people that got the email get approved this week!

It would be nice.

Don't lose hope, and please be persistent and call USCIS daily if necessary. I was calling every day. It was not until tier 2 opened a Service Request that was sent to NBC instead of my local office, where the application was never at, that everything started moving. I know it was sent to NBC because the Service Request case number ended with MSC. If something like this has already been done, call and demand answers about where exactly the application is at, and ask for transfer dates, they do have access to this information and can provide it to you.

I've been following this thread and wanted to chime in to say that my wife just received her second NOA (approval notice). Permanent resident card to arrive within 3 weeks.

Application Date: April 11, 2014

Notice Date: March 31, 2015

Close to a full year. Hopefully this means others will be receiving their notice before too long.
