Nah, not approved yet. Just got an email with the 'results' of the case:

Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing.
Maybe not progress. However, I still have another SR submitted by a Tier 2, with a number WKD***MSC pending. I was told this would be done, alongside the adjudication of my case, by April 11th. I'll believe this when I see it, though. The T2 gave me his direct contact number and a case number that I've to call him back with if it passes the 11th and nothing happens.
My biggest concern is renewing my Drivers Licence at this stage. It expires in June (only lasted a year), the same date as my i797's expiry which is as far as the DL can go without a green card, according to state law (or so the person at the DMV explained when I asked). Will I be legal to drive on my UK licence again? I'm really not sure what to do if that does expire...

Is anyone else just kind of in denial about it at this stage. I am actually rarely on here now because it upsets me too much (either seeing how little progress has been made, or envious of those getting approved). I don't really talk about it any more, the other day my husband made a half-arsed joke about the whole thing and I asked him kindly not to (he wasn't being mean, just trying to cheer me up).

I am pretty much on shutdown though. I can't handle how unfair this is and how f**ked it is and if I think too much I get SO annoyed and so upset and frustrated. I am a control freak personality so this is hell. The only way I have found not to lose my mind is just healthy ol' repression and denial at this point! :(

If you're in Ohio (which I think you are), I think that the answer to this question is no. To use your UK licence you have to be a 'bonafide tourist' and it only lasts 12 months.

Have you have sent in your renewal EAD/AP application?

I hear you.

Yesterday I was wondering what to do. Where I live there aren't many career choices, so my husband and I have been talking of moving closer to a city so I can find employment which I would be happy in. Any way I thought until we decide which city to move nearer too, I will look at university courses in business. Then I realised I couldn't as I don't have a GC.

So when my husband got back from work I told him what I had been doing and he was like good idea. I said no it isn't I can't go to college and get a loan without my GC. He was like "Are you serious"? Yes I am, welcome to my world not being a permanent resident.

Later that night they had a council job advertised on the car radio. Again I probably can't apply due to not have permanent residency. I just feel in limbo and it just makes me terribly homesick, what we use to take for granted we can't now. My husband is now realising how the GC is affecting most choices we try to make. He is very annoyed being an American Citizen and feeling penalised as he chose to marry someone from abroad and having to pay for the privilege and let's be honest it isn't cheap.

I hope you hear something shortly. I just feel though that this process was taking around 9 months, then it went to 12 months and now it seems around 14 months. They don't seem to know how to play catch up! :(

I think Derwood is probably correct. I live in Pennsylvania, I looked up the laws relating to it. A UK licence in our state lasts a year. An international one lasts a year from the date on the licence. So more time off work for you to get it sorted out, which is more expense etc. Sorry! :(

Is it 120 days or 90 before? If it's 120 I'll be able to squeeze it in, assuming that it doesn't take a month to renew.

You can renew EAD within 120 days from date of expiration. You need to file as soon as possible because it will take longer than what you expected. My renewal applications are sitting at USCIS about 60 days on 4/9/2015.

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

This seems to be weird to me that DL expires on the date of I-797C instead of expiration date on EAD.

You might need to get expedited through congressman or senator.

The best case is that you receive GC before expiration. Good luck.

Yea. I was baffled by it as well, the DL was only a 1-year DL when I first got it, asked about it thinking it was a mistake - it's 'one year past the I-797 date' that the expiry is, which puts it at June 18th

That would be the 1 year mark of my AOS, and I certainly HOPE it doesn't take that long. If it does get to mid May and I've still not got it I'll definitely be contacting senators and all sorts, or USCIS, in an attempt to expedite it.

Feeling the same way! We have just about the same NOA1 date, yours is about a week earlier than mine. I am following your timeline now to see the progress! I hope we both hear something very soon. I see you aren't too far away we are in upstate NY area. This is taking way too long, and its frustrating that we have to both worry about getting a day off to do the renewal for EAD / also that hers might expire before we get the new one ( if we hadnt recieved the GC yet. ) I am so sick of worrying about everything! We also considered my wife going to college, and oh you cant without a GC! So annoying. I try to stay away as much as possible as well because it makes me more upset knowing they havent approved it yet lol.

We should have our GC by the end of April, good luck to us.

Nah, not approved yet. Just got an email with the 'results' of the case:

The status of this service request is:

If USCIS was processing in the order in which it was received and in a timely mater, there wouldn't be people on this thread with NOA's in Feb and early Mar still waiting and there wouldn't be any "lottery-winning" early approvals without interview....And unfortunately there are people still waiting this long and there are still people getting approved with NPIW letters and NOA's of June and sooner.

BTW, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but a SR with a MSC suffix generally means your case is still firmly esconced in Lee's Hill pergatory...
