Constantly harassing?? that will be a futile exercise. there is absolutely nothing an applicant can do but to wait :protest::protest: . they all work at snail speed.

thinking too much about it builds up all that anxiety thats not very good for daily living. :crying:

Hoping to get some news anyways.

Very true, but ignoring what is happening just let's them do it to everyone else. People need the GC for various personal reasons, ie being parted from their loved ones, being unable to apply for a job that you want, having to renew a driving licence, taking time off work to renew EAD/AP, paying for it and losing money from taking time off work.

I think I speak for the majority on here we just want our GC's so we can actually acclimatise and get on with our married life's here, rather than being in limbo and having to do things that are SO unnecessary, not to mention having to wait to sponsor our children who we miss dearly! Then there is the fact of waiting at border control as we still aren't classed as residents.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

You know I've had my GC for 2 weeks now, and I feel no different than I did before I got it and I was in the same position as everyone here and I've realized it's because I know (and we all know) that ROC is gonna be another ordeal in 2 years time, they tell you to make sure you document the 2 years so you have everything for ROC, so for the next 2 years we're all gonna be living life knowing ROC is coming and that we need to save everything, document everything and overall worry about ROC and hope that it's not gonna be a pain like every other process was with USCIS..

Good Morning! Good Friday and I am working AND waiting. Hopefully this will be a day full of approvals.

Good Morning Movin On,

I wish there would be some approvals today, there hasn't been much movement at all this week and I can't help wondering if its because of the visa applicants they are accepting from April 1st, some type of work visa! Processing times should be updated shortly, but I think nowadays the norm is going to be a year's wait! Can't see them ever catching up until they employ more staff. I am actually starting to feel sorry for the USCIS employees, to many visa applicants and not enough staff, they must hate going to work every day.

Possibly staff at USCIS NBC have been focusing on relocating Work-based AOS cases to other service centres, as was indicated by their notice a few days ago? Can't imagine it being a one man process, and even if it does delay cases slightly i'll probably clear the path for a lot more approvals in the future.

Wow you're talking American, ie gonna realize!

I am not even thinking of ROC and gathering evidence, we do have a joint bank account, however its not the one my husband banks his wage in, we do have joint health insurance, I don't pay any of the bills yet, not until I get a job, nor do I drive yet, so no joint car insurance. I am what is called a housewife right now. So its hard to show joint anything, but hey ho, I am sure it will change sooner rather than later.

They are accepting applications for grants of some description and then HB work visas etc! So they are un-indated right now.

Hi all. We filed on the 22nd of July 2014, but didn't receive the NPIW letter until the first week of January. Yes, I realize we're together and this should make everything better, but living in limbo frustrating nonetheless. I suppose we're paying the price for getting a K-1 approval in 33 days. . .

Question:

If he doesn't receive his GC until after we've been married a year, does this change anything regarding ROC?

Welcome

I was wondering about that. If after the Conditional GC comes you still know the looming ROC is on the Horizon. Will we not feel relaxed and permanent until the 10 year?

Yeah it has been a little spooky this week, very quite. I'm hoping it is because they are moving the cases around and I know one day this week the system down, Monday I think.

I would like to hear something soon, maybe today!! Good Friday should be GOOD right?

I hope it does free up the staff to work on ROC for us. But it does seem like they getting farther and farther in the hole. 6-9 months, 9-12 months and 12-14 months. Seems like just when I get to where I think they would be working on early April then BOOM the time frames are moved farther away!

Also, I hate the fancy, new-ish case status site. Never in our lives have we so deeply loathed the phrase, "My Fingerprint Fee Was Received". My head explodes every time.

As of right now it seems to be approx 1 year from your NOA1 filing date.

But our case is 1 year and 2 days. So who knows really?
