No need! I'll save you the time and trouble. *clears throat*

"Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner. We regret any inconvenience that results from delays in processing."

Great analogy. Timely and efficient manner? I still haven't got my head around that one! If that is true, I would hate to see what would happen if they said in an untimely and inefficient manner. No I can't even think about that one, it is what nightmares are made off!

The state you live in doesn't make a difference. You are in Maryland your file is in Cal so that is good, as it means your file has left NBC to be adjudicated, they choose any office for adjudication that isn't overloaded. Basically it means they will be working on your case dependent on when it left the NBC, normally takes up to 60 days I think.

I don't think anything makes a difference at this point. The truth about this situation is that we are at the mercy of the USCIS and they do with us as they wish.

If you have AP with your EAD, you should have no problem visiting France. As soon as I received my AP the first thing I did was book a trip to England to spend 6 weeks with my son for Christmas and the New Year and to help him decorate the house. I was exhausted when I got back it was SO worth it to see my son and cat! :)

You shouldn't have to do that, its disgraceful that you are still waiting!! Lets hope the green stuff works this week for you!

Shell, unfortunately my wife is petrified of AP. She was turned around once when she was coming here to visit me and was sent back home (long story) and she was not able to even come to this country up until she got her K1. In either case for her traveling with AP is not an option. She is traumatized by the border patrol. So the only way she would agree to leave the country is with a green card...

Uh no, Thats terrible!!! They gave me a bit of a hard time at the border into Canada but didn't turn me away and searched me twice and made me empty my purse twice and I only flew up there 3 times, so I can only imagine how she feels. Hopefully we will get those cards soon and everyone can relax.

I don't think anything makes a difference at this point. The truth about this situation is that we are at the mercy of the USCIS and they do with us as they wish.

The entire process correctly summarised in two sentences.
