I don't believe it. I got put through to the officer and there was something wrong with the line. It sounded like I was speaking to an incomprehensible alien for the planet Mars. I couldn't understand a word or even make out if I was speaking to a man or woman.

Are you kidding? They can't even seemingly do a call back with out messing that up too!!! Wow, heard it all now!

Yeah hate to say this but they seem to have a different time zone than the rest of us, their 6 months for AOS can be anything from up to 2 years or whatever they decide on the day, it changes like the weather!

I just receive a letter from a SR I did back on January 20 2015

It just says to keep waiting n to give them 90 days from 1/20 to have a decision

Well, that would be a plus, If we believe them, because that would be April 20th. But on the other hand, then it means it will take more than a year. Since i officially joined the forum in Jan (I was just observing before) I have seen them say 6-9 months, then 9-12 months, not before 11 months and now I am seeing 12-14 months. This is taking a serious toll on my family.

So what office did this SR come from? What is the return address on the envelope, at the top of the letter and what is the zip code from the post mark?

I could say it's about time, but I've said that already. I could say we are happy, but you know that. I can also tell you that I am still angry. Finally got a call from my Senators office about an hour ago and I told the staffer, "Thanks but no thanks." But I did launch into a major league concern for the many of us who have and continue to wait. This bureacratic nightmare (unrelated to the overall immigration question) must be dealt with...

We are happy and it perked up my recovering wife. Now (as soon the GC is in hand) she can start the petitioning for her adult son...and that will take a LONG time...

Thank you all for listening to my somewhat jaded, cynical and sometimes humerous posts...I am also not leaving. This battle must be fought by all of us until decisions are made in a reasonable period of time...

Congratulations!!! About time you got your approval!! Wonder, what can I do to get my GC produced?? Guess, I will wait and hope that by end of next year, I will get 10 years GC because I am already past 1 year and about 20 days as of now!!
