They'll only be transferring I-485 for employment based and asylum applicants but I think this might speed up the process for the remainder I-485s.

So, unless they need an interview or some type of ERF then they stay at NBC until approved. In a nut shell is that what these two recent posts are saying from Tier 2 and congressman? So if everything is good then they stay and rot?

Not sure that is correct I think the 2nd one said that they go to different USCIS offices, I think that means field offices, just ones that don't have as many case files and not necessarily near your place of residence. That's how I read it, but to be honest I think they just make it up at the USCIS as they go along, just to placate everyone! They would make excellent story tellers!

Since when is a year normal? There are people out there that want to sponsor their older children and can't unti they get a GC nor can they get a government job, probably can't claim a lottery win!

Just read Esperdo12 post which says that they are going to make a decision from NBC this email conflicts that information given by a tier 2. I just feel they will say whatever they want to pacify people and get them off the phone. It's all SO inconsistent!

Why hasnt anyone just said that NPIW letters are on track and are in normal processing time for 1 year. If anyone would have said that in the first place instead of sending out these letters that say 6 months, then they would have saved themselves and all of us a lot of frustration!! Sheesh!!!!

1 year cannot be a normal processing time, else they wouldn't send out the letters in the first place saying up to a 6 month delay. Pinocchio is getting such a big nose that it nearly reaches from one side of the USA to the other!

FYI..so far I can't make an infopass appointment (like they say we should do) because there are none available at our local office at the present time. It said to try back later. What in the heck?!?

Had my Tier 2 callback. Apparently, my case is both still at the NBC and massively behind schedule. Seemingly I'll be getting a decision - either rejection, acceptance or interview - by the middle of April.

Wonder how Nlhernan is doing? No word about his GC yet. This process is just such a drip, drip, drip, painful effect that I think I would rather stick pins in my eyes, have a tooth extracted with out a pain killer or suffer from a dose of hemorrhoids! Lol

I am sure he will let us know when he hears, shame he can't really paint the town tonight, but it might help with his wife's recovery if they get the news they are hoping for!
