I agree, it's too quiet. We need shell! I remember when my wife was waiting for her first EAD card, she sat outside in a chair in front of the mail box until the mailman came around. I even drove around the block a few times until I saw the truck. Crazy, but worth it.

Oh my god, just talked to tier 2. If USPS loses your EAD, you have to file another I-765 renewal and go through the whole thing again. This is insane.

I just got a call from an Unknown number. I expected it to be some sales call, but NO! It was the Cleveland USCIS Field Office.

They told me interview has been waived, and they are requesting the file from NBC today. It will take about 3 weeks to get the file then 30 days to make a decision. If they need anything more they will get in touch with me in writing.

Guess my Congressman's enquiries did pay off. It was an officer who called me. She said as long as all the background checks and everything has cleared I should get an answer within that time period.

I can't believe this great news. This happens just after USCIS tells me it could take 9 to 12 months more. Haha.

Seeing as my NPIW has now expired, would it be appropriate for me to schedule one?

Good morning! First, congratulations to those who've been recently approved! I think we had one yesterday, correct? Second, I have never, literally ever, had a problem with USPS. I don't understand how some of you have nothing but problems! I will say it sucks though. Giuseppe, I sincerely hope they find your EAD, and you can avoid more dramatic mayhem. Also, KVE, we have similar timelines, and I just recently sent a letter to my congresswoman, who prides herself on immigration reform. Let's see what she does. That's great news for you!!! Cleveland isn't your actual local office, is it? What a trippy call that must have been.

How would I go about requesting a Tier 2 callback? My only experience with calling USCIS is a 45 minutes hold session followed by being told pretty much nothing apart from 'please wait'.

I just contacted my congressman's office. My current EAD expires in around 50 days, and I know the EAD can take upwards of 90. I'm not going to risk losing my job over their incompetence.

Since I came to the US, I've only used FedEx or UPS when I have to send anything important. I had a lot of issues with USPS when I lived in Canada and ordered stuff on-line or over the phone (for work and personal), I often paid more to have the goods sent by FedEx or UPS just to make sure I would receive them. Too many times I had items that were lost and didn't arrive.

Needless to say, we've been waiting ever since. I just wanted to let everyone know what an officer at our local office told us during our Infopass appointment. He said that NPIW cases are taking from 12-14 months and that he has not seen any be approved before 11 months. We're at 11 months right now, so we're hoping we're close to the elusive GC. He did tell us our case was past background check and was ready to be sent to a local office for review. Has anyone here been waiting longer than 14 months?

I'm going to be calling USCIS again after work to see about getting to Tier 2. I hope tier 2 is able to confirm what tier 1 confirmed yesterday, that my wife's app is in El Paso, TX already.
