Ok, so we were surprised to see that tier 2 does not have the ability to do anything for us but submit service requests. I called USCIS as soon as I got home and spoke with tier 1. They told me tier 2 was not taking anymore calls for the day. The agent I spoke to was able to see that my wife's application is now in the El Paso, TX. I asked if this was new because in past conversations with tier 1 they seemed like robots that only read out loud the case status from the website. She said this was not new. What was more surprising was that tier 1 knew we received a NPIW letter from past service requests. She explained right on what the NPIW letter is. I asked about 10 times if she was sure that the application was no longer at the NBC, and asked her to confirm several times that the app is now in El Paso. She confirmed and gave me her name and agent ID. I don't know if to feel excited or what. I'm going to call again tomorrow To see about talking to tier 2.

I don;t know what to believe anymore Espared. I called Tier 1 on March 2nd and she assured me that our case was in San Fernando Valley since Jan 4th, but we havent heard a peep at all. So i don't know.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015, and unfortunately USCIS does not answer the inquiry until now.

I sent an email to ombudsman's office today again to remind them and they told me that they automatically sent a follow up inquiry to USCIS on 03/18/2015. We are both awaiting from USCIS and I can't believe that USCIS is ignoring Ombudsman's inquiry. That could explain why SRs are meaningless to USCIS.

On March 25, 2015, we sent a response to your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SRxxxxxxxxxxxLOU.

Did you request this on line and did you check that you wanted email confirmation? If you did, their response will be by email...We finally caught on to that with our last SR and it landed in my email in box without having to wait for a uniformed representative of the US government placing it nicely in my mailbox after a week of waiting,,,

IM LIVID RIGHT NOW! USPS has lost my green card! It says cannot be delivered and I look on Google and apparently it means they've put it on the wrong truck and as a cause it gets sent back to the return address, I could not be any more fuming right now, what the hell do I do now!!

Not true. They make several attempts to deliver a certified letter. Call your post office tommorrow and tell them what the USPS tracking message said. They can fix this...Remember "...yur in 'Merica nah..."

But you are a permanent resident from the date of issue not the date of receipt, do you need the card to show proof of work? I think you have to get an INFOPASS and get that stamp, right?

Damn, you can't even file for a replacement Green Card online because you didn't receive it.

After all the trouble with USCIS, now you have to deal with USPS.

USPS is horrible, I'm waiting for a credit card sent through them and all it says is departed Salt Lake City on 23rd March. It can't take 2 days to get to OH on one truck without stopping somewhere to be swiped...

I prefer UPS and Fedex, but unfortunately USCIS doesn't send things through them. DHL actually delivered my son passport the next day after it was issued in the UK to our OH address, brilliant service.

Hey your dumping on the heart of the great agencies of this here government...The way your talking you'd think there were problems at the USCIS, USPS, VA, IRS..................

By the way, I would never send anything UPS. 80% of the time I get anything from anyone who mails UPS, there is some kind of problem. I've used nothing but FedEx for almost 25 years...My check from FedEx is in the mail (USPS, that's why I have not received it yet)...

I just got a notification that green card is in production! Woot! Soo happy I even did my happy dance lol Just in time for my Name Day today Double celebration tonight.

So how long do people have to wait to hear from the ombudsman? We contacted them and got the automated email confirmation on 3/16 so how long after that are people tending to hear anything? The site said they have 45 days to respond.

I did request online and I do remember inputting my e-mail address, but I received no e-mail regarding the SR.

Does anyone of you guys know how they choose who is going to get this letter ? I saw lot of November and even December filers' interviews are scheduled, but I got this letter 8 days ago( December filer). I know they say every cease is diferent, I know that for example cases connected with military are privileged, but what about other cases , how they decide that ?

And if you believe that garbage that every case is different, I have some well irrigated land in Florida to sell you.

They stick us in that bucket because they do not have enough interviewers to interview all of us all. They flag the tell tale ones and ship letters to the rest of us. It is convinent, because they throw all our cases behind bars in Lee's Molehill in Misery where there is no processing date for I-485's because they don't get processed there... They know we will all be approved without interviews, but just not soon...It's a great racket...Funny they can't be investigated for RICO Act violations...Oh that's right, the govenment can't be charged with that...

Hate to stop this boat from floating, but Esperado12, did you read what was posted on the thread today?

Apparently one of our friends posted today, they had a lengthy discussion with a Tier 2 on Friday late, who openly admitted that they do not have any insight to what is happening with our files. Only a info pass would give an insight, they blatantly admitted that they do not know what happens to the files and that it is with immigration officers in whatever field office has the capacity and they are not privy to that info, so I don't know how a tier 1 would know such vast info.

However, as I said in response to this post, the USCIS has to know which field office they actually sent it too!! Right? You would think wouldn't you, any way excuse me as I carry on listening to my 80's music and doing an Abba dance, it is preferable to listening about the DAILY, total up at USCIS!
