Hey guys, so here is an answer to another mystery we have been trying to solve, it's regarding the EAD renewal. I had my GC approved last week and today I received an updated regarding my EAD renewal application:

Case Terminated Benefit Received By Other Means

On March 25, 2015, we terminated your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number MSC*********, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means. We will send you a termination notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Hey guys, so here is an answer to another mystery we have been trying to solve, it's regarding the EAD renewal. I had my GC approved last week and today I received an updated regarding my EAD renewal application:

On March 25, 2015, we terminated your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number MSC*********, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means. We will send you a termination notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

That's interesting, I got approved last Monday, my GC says it will arrive tomorrow but I also got my EAD Renewal NOA1 on Monday so obviously mine hasn't been terminated yet, I guess it will be in due time

So they do have some clue of what's going on with immigration benefits.

I'd go with just the vaccinations sheet if I were you although it may be harder to get a civil surgeon to do this - I'd persist with them though.

I was there last year, have you seen that one that goes up a very, very steep hill very, very quickly and down just as quick!! I was like ok Jr (my husbands eldest), you try it out and let us know what it is like and I will take pics!

He wont mind he is great, he made me beer battered fish and chips last night, I kept telling him we don't really do beer battered fish in the UK, but he made it with Newcastle beer any way. Must admit I couldn't taste the beer and the fish and chips were fantastic. I had bought a tin of mushy peas from Wegmans a few months ago, so we had those with it, I was in heaven felt like I had gone to the chippy at home. However, today with my shoulder tendinitis and my bloated stomach, I am not in heaven as I need to do loads of exercise to combat those calories!! No pain, no gain right?

Oh no tonight is burger and beer night, that means I need to jog as well!

No a service request is a reminder to the USCIS, that we are counting cobwebs, watching paint dry and grass growing and to remind them we actually exist and have paid the fees of a $1000 to prove so, only to be told that we aren't important and shut up and put up. Whereas the OMBUDSMAN is an independent body that acts as mediator to remind the USCIS, they need to act with in certain guidelines and processing times.

Called USCIS last week, just before submitting the OMBUDSMAN and got a call after 240 minutes while the waiting time was 70 minutes...The tier 2 lady who spoke to me was one of the honest ones, I guess...She was on phone with me for about 20 minutes and spend a lot of time looking into my case and said that somebody should be working on it because its already well over a year and I can't tell you the reason why it is not approved yet...

She did tell me that Tier 2 are of no use...Doesn't matter which one is on the line, they can't help you because they actually can't see your case progress...She said "Tier 2 officers are helpless and they have to give you something because that's what we are supposed to do, nobody will tell you this because we are not supposed to...The only person who can tell about your case is the same person to whom your case is assigned...We don't have any access to the case progress or why it is not progressing, its upto the IO that how much time your case takes...Some IO are working hard and that's how you see the cases get approved with in months and in some case, you will get our letters which is easier to do...."

Says something about USCIS..isn't it? She did open another SR for me because that's the only thing she could do within her power...
