I should have fingerprint appointment Tomorrow .. yesterday I got email form USCIS for my work authorization case : Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production ... what does it mean ? should I go to fingerprint or no ? and does it mean my AOS is gonna get longer ?

are you sure its your work authorisation and not your GC?

yes it's for the work authorization case number not for my GC case number ... My GC case number still shows the same " we accepted your fingerprint on ... "

Well I would go any way. I have seen this before where a card has been produced without any fingerprints, just another inconsistency I think when you go for the 2nd fingerprint appointment (not 100 percent sure) that they only take one fingerprint any way, just to verify youre the same person I should imagine!

SMH I don't understand that when they get a 2nd request for work authorisation they just don't put the case to the top of the pile and produce the GC, it would be so much more cost effective than having to produce a work authorisation card, post it etc and then another card ie the GC! They don't make it easy on us, nor themselves!

Good morning everyone! So we finally received our hard copy of the RFE and like I thought before, his medical definitely expired and they want a new one. The only question I have now is do they want a full medical or just the vaccination. At the top of the notice it says to submit a completed medical but at the bottom under "Other" they stated that we are only required to submit pages 1 and 5 of form I-693. Can someone look at the attached notice and help me figure out if he has to redo the entire medical or just get the vaccinations transcribed? Thanks!

I'd go with just the vaccinations sheet if I were you although it may be harder to get a civil surgeon to do this - I'd persist with them though.

Knowning USCIS, they'll get approval the day before their second wedding anniversary.

They need to submit ombusman and congressional inquiries now...

We all hope to be in your shoes soon! I bet you're going to want to flash that green card everywhere when you get it. There are approvals on here that are memorable and provide a sense of relief, accomplishment, and joy for everyone. You were one of those, as well as soapface's, marino's, and all of the other old timers that have received their approval. I also feel happy for those lucky approvals, but those are hard to pass. Once again CONGRATULATIONS!

Same thing happened to me. They can approve your case before your biometrics appointment, but they won't produce/mail the card until you've been fingerprinted.

In my case, my renewal EAD was approved over a week before my biometrics appointment but the status didn't change to "card/document production" until a couple hours after my visit to the service center.

Here's hoping, I am still composing a letter to the powers that be to get our story across, but boy is this a long winded letter and I am trying not to miss anything out with out it be boring so they actually read it!!! I don't intend to let go of this! I don't think any of this what the USCIS is fair or right and if I can make a difference so people don't go through this again, I will!!

Its a joke, it shows incompetence and political moves if you ask me! I have been waiting for nearly 8 months and I am furious to see what the people who have been waiting nearly a year are going through. So furious that I am venting my anger into writing letters to the people right at the top of the chain to make them aware of what is going on! It not only angers me it saddens me too. It's like that the people of the USA don't count and that the American Dream does not exist, keeping families together etc. Poppy #######!
