I'm the January 2014 filer (still waiting). They sent me and RFE last month for proof of living together, new medical and marriage certificate (duno what they did with the last one I sent them) gathering all of this cost me around $300, thanks uscis!. Another frustrating thing is iv been waiting for my drivers license renewal for 2 months now because they're waiting to hear back from uscis about my immigration status

You didn't miss much. A comment was deleted because the poster spoke his/her mind. The poster was critizing those who are being impatient about this process and mentioned that is basically an honor to be a green card holder. There was nothing really offensive about the post.

Since the main focus of a forum is to share information and learn from each other, I think is a good decision that the administrator removed it.

I hope that they remove future post that aren't construcive or negative (or whiny.)

Let's keep focused, they keep positive!

yikes!! I can't believe how long your application is taking! Where did you go for your medical? I feel like we had this conversation last month, but I'm curious, since we're not that far apart.

I actually was more concern about my husband. He is an active duty in the military -USCG under The Department of Homeland Security-. I have a blog and writing stuff about US immigration.

He told me, just write all your experience, your immigration journey has nothing to do with my job. It is totally different. Though he reassured me that way, I am still choose my words carefully to express my opinion. That's why I put on my signature "I am the beneficiary and my post is not reflecting my petitioner's point of views".

So, if the government mad about my posts then go after me not my husband. He is innocent. .

Daniel, the poster didn't just speak his/her mind. The poster was offensive about it. That is why it was removed. We all get that this process lacks efficiency, transparency, timeliness, and routine procedure. Months ago, there were several (who've since gotten their cards and bailed) on here who were pretty whiny. It comes with the process. If not here, where can we vent? I'd like to point out that the poster whose comments were removed had just yesterday been informed that their gc was approved, with no repeat medical needed (even though their sparse timeline suggests it's 1+ years ago that they had the original), and within 10 months (earlier than a LOT of people on here). Naturally, their perspective is different than a lot of others. We are keeping focused and (mostly) positive. But it should also be allowed that we be whiny at times. We're frustrated, impatient, holding the short stick, and just wanting this process to be finished like the lucky who are interviewed.

Posted wrong link... the USCIS post I-485 inventory for employment-based petitions but not family-based petitions AFAIK.
