Didn't file along with AOS as I thought this would have all been done by now and wasn't wanting to go home until October at the earliest, I'll have a look into filing this soon though.

Yes, you can do it and included a copy of your NOA-1 from I-485 in your package so they will waived the fee.

No email or text except just now when they sent my tracking number. Card will be delivered on Saturday, my online status went from "Fingerprint Fee Received" to "Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service".

Well. I received the welcome letter today, dated June 12th. I submitted a request to my congressmen a week last Friday. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it.

For the people still waiting. I feel your pain and feel your annoyance toward the USCIS.

When you are trying to contact whether USCIS or congressman within range waiting for 6 months, you will have nothing. I called USCIS May 1, 2015 and one of their agents told me that my case is still in normal processing times.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

Don't worry, we made the same mistake. We thought that we would have the GC within 6 months.

We applied for the AP and EAD together. It took about 90 days for us to get it.

Once you have it, you may apply for a social security number and driver's license.

I also read somewhere in this thread that after you apply for a EAD, you may request for them to expedite it, in case you have a job offer. Keep in mind that they request for documentation that you have received a job offer.

I called again today and spoke with Tier 2 employee. She said something different from the last time call. She said my case is still in Nebraska office and it is not in transfer to anywhere. Last time I called, they told me it is in transfer without mentioning (From/To). Everyone talk something different. She refuse to take any e-request until 1 month period after my first e-request. On July 14, 2015. It will be 1 year since I filed AOS and 8 Months since NPIW letter.

Talked to a Tier 2 officer and he said my papers were sent to Memphis, TN (instead of Raleigh) and it was assigned to an officer and should have a decision in 30 days (the officer has been holding on to it for a month now). I'm glad theres an actual update yay

We received the Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case last week (dated June 11, 2015) and then received the Welcome Notice (dated June 15, 2015) stating that my wife's AoS has been approved. Don't give up hope!

Just received my Husband's "Welcome to the United States of America" letter!!! :dance: :dance: Woot Woot!! :dance::dance: Thank you God!!

Letter was dated June 15 - No Texts - No Emails - No online updates! Case Status still shows as Fingerprint Fee Received!! We just mailed off his EAD Renewal at the Post Office only to arrive home and find that beautiful Welcome Letter!!! Amen! Amen! Amen!

Keep faith!! It will come...

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

I got the RFE letter from my local office which is chatsworth ca ( San fernando valley)

I limited to wat I can do through my phone so can't do my time line

They recieved my case April 10 2014

Got the interview waiver letter July 10 2014

Summited multiple service request got nothing out of em

Got the RFE letter May 27 2015

Send new medical May 29 2015

It was sign for June 1 2015

June 17 2015 n still nothing

Submitted multiple e-inquiries and phone calls and got nothing out of them !

Got the RFE for new medical exam May 25 , 2015

Sent it June 8 ,215

By the way i Got my RFE Medical exam letter from Chatsworth , CA 91311

They received my Medical exam letter June 10 ,2015

So it's been 10 days now and nothing i hope it will not take another forever cycle of waiting :(

I'm at 8 months + after NPIW and nothing.

I've called my senator, no reply.

I've called USCIS, they say they've put in a service request and to call back in 30 days.

Any suggestions?
