I got the RFE letter from my local office which is chatsworth ca ( San fernando valley)

I limited to wat I can do through my phone so can't do my time line

They recieved my case April 10 2014

Got the interview waiver letter July 10 2014

Summited multiple service request got nothing out of em

Got the RFE letter May 27 2015

Send new medical May 29 2015

It was sign for June 1 2015

June 17 2015 n still nothing

If the case is in your local office I would schedule an infoPASS first or better yet, I would try to do a walk in if I am ever free to do so. do not waste time. Put preassure on USCIS to do what they get pay to do.

Infopass should let you know if they are just sitting on your case or they are actually working it.

Well my trip to Iceland will have to wait until I ACTUALLY RECEIVE MY GREEN CARD!

If you combine two of the worst government run agencies you will have a complete mess. USCIS and the USPS did it again, they failed miserable to carry out one of the most simple tasks one can imagine, deliver mail on time to the person it actually belongs to.

So the USCIS send my green card, the USPS decided to not deliver due to reasons they cannot disclose and the green card, presumably is back in the hands of the USCIS who will not resend it again until late JULY! According to the USCIS officers, their system will not let them request a resend yet.

I mean this is ridiculous. I need my green card to continue my employment, I am facing termination soon if I cannot show proof of legal status and my driver's license is about to be canceled as well.

We should all just gather the troops and file a law suit against the USCIS and force them into the dark abyss of bankruptcy so the government can reconstruct this horrific agency.

Thanks for reading my rant. Carry on everyone. Hopefully the future is brighter for you all.

ROC Packet delivered 2/24/2017 - GC Expiration 5/20/2017.

NOA - 2/27

Bio - Walk-in 3/10

When is your trip to Iceland? Your EAD/AP doesn't expire until nearly the end of August. All the same, you've every right to be pissed off. Resending right away shouldn't be such a production. :(

Edit to add: wait, so you not have AP?

I just sent off my I-693 today. See what happens.

Good luck!

I am another April 2014 AOS filer with an August 2014 NPIW letter. I had an RFE early on but after that the case has been stuck. The EAD renewal is also pending. E-service request has been broken since mid-May resulting in error messages.

Have you tried to call them instead? I called a couple of times and 3 days after I put service request, I received mail to redo my medical.

Not yet. I will do it at lunch today. Do you request Tier 2 support or just ask Tier 1?

Just Tier-1. I was just lucky though my case finally 'touched' because many people did not have that luck after spoke to Tier-1 and had ask them transferred to Tier-2.

Thank you, Girl from Celebes. I spoke to a Tier 1 agent who confirmed that the case is outside normal processing time and asked for the same info that the e-request form asked for. Will post updates when we get them.

I also sent in my new medical over a month ago, haven't heard a peep back from them. I can see it was delivered to the New York office over a month ago from the post tracking. My local office would be Kansas City.

May 20, 2014: Sent the AOS package
May 22, 2014: NOA for I-485 and I-765
June 10, 2014: Biometrics appointment
June 17, 2014: RFE for a joint sponsor
July 30, 2014: We send the RFE package in
August 1, 2014: I-485 moved to Nebraska Service Center and status changed to RFE review
August 25, 2014: EAD status changed to Card/ Document Production
September 10, 2014: Notice of Potential Visa Waiver Case

Why is everyone getting a request for a new medical? Doesn't the instructions on the form (I-693) specifically say that if you came on a K visa and had the medical completed within one year of the time you filed form I-485, you are not required to have a new medical so long as you have your vaccination record (DS 3025)? It does not say that your application has to be approved within 1 year of the medical. It says that it needs to be submitted within 1 year after the medical.

Or am I missing something?
