Just finished my medical exam today. I have waited my husband took days off from work because I can't drive and go anywhere without a car. Good thing is that I did not have to make an appointment. Just walk-in. Total cost is $210. Only one vaccination (tetanus), TB test, blood test and no X-ray.

Same thing here. The field office received the information they requested on June 2nd via Fedex. The only thing I have is the notification of delivery from Fedex.

Our notice was a "Continuance Letter" from the field office. They asked for our marriage certificate. (even though it was included in the original AOS documents).

I sure you are ready to be done with this process also.

I hope you guys hear something soon!

Yea... we had a request for rental information or mortgage (because I'd have one of them without a green card!) in both our names. Don't have either, so included some joint bank info and car insurance with a few other odds and ends, so certainly hope it's enough. I dropped a call to the ombudsman and left a message, hoping that I'll be contacted back tomorrow, or soon at least.

Out of interest - what's the earliest date that someone has received the welcome letter? i.e. shortest time to approval since receiving the NPIW? Mainly thinking of those in 2014/15... just trying to drum up hope for all of us...

This is a really long thread to sift through on my phone so if someone could answer a quick question I would appreciate it.

I applied for aos on 10/30/13, received an interview waiver letter for me and my children on 01/14/14 and I got my GC last august....yet my children still have not, I contact USCIS every 12 weeks about it and always get the same letters in response (basicly saying that they can not give me an answer).

So is this wait time normal for k2 applications? And when my GC needs renewal next year can I still put my children on the same form?

Thank you

This is probably the most alarming post I've ever read on this thread! Contact the ombudsman righty away and get some intervention. Your kids shouldn't be this far behind you! It seems like the K2 is a host to problems all its own. Our K2 got the NPIW letter, while K1 never did. I've read a post where kid got his gc, and K1 waited an extra 4 months or so, but you're going to be applying for ROC long before your kids. That doesn't seem right. Also, if you can, get a senator or congressperson involved. Don't wait for USCIS to iron out the problem.

Actually, I'd ask in a wider-read forum. We don't have a lot of K2 info here. But someone who's gone through the process already will likely have advice. Post in the ROC forum.

The updated field office processing times are out and our office, Philadelphia, hasn't changed even a day since the March 31 report...what are they doing sleeping?! Still are a few days shy of being out of the normal processing times...guess we are going to have to pay for college, without loans :( Contacted the senator and received a letter from USCIS. Will post soon. Basically it said don't expect anything before 12 months. So discouraging.

This is a shame to America... It's been 2 weeks now me and my partner isn't taking with one another it all started when DMV doesn't want to give a license instead just a learners permit that I will hold for 6 months... Take it or leave it...

That's it... I'm tired...the USCIS officer told me "You are asking the government for an immigration that is not a right but a privilege so you have to wait"... That's it sorry we are not welcome in here...don't dream anymore of your greencard why not start planning to transfer to another country whose more welcoming and whose laws are more firm and clear.

DAMN USA... Goodbye...

I have a more positive take on it - the fact they haven't changed may mean they shipped loads of cases from NBC to field offices with dates prior to last months date that are currently being processed...

Hey PCV, we received same RFE 5/28, they signed for it on June 2nd after overnight delivery to Fairfax VA office (we're all the way in Texas) Very frustrating to know we included the marriage cert in our original packet! Online status has never been updated since "fingerprint...." We received our waiver letter 12/31. Hope we hear something soon!!!!!
