I have just got a letter today from USCIS that they need my I-693. Great!

Though my husband was happy, I wasn't. I hate go to a doctor!

Been thinking about this....so, we receive a letter today but is dated April 22, which is LESS than a year from filing, but the letter also has a stamp on it dated May 18 rec.d by New York office, which takes it to over a year,BUT the SAME New York office is given at the top of the letter. #######.....

wow....he`s not happy, after reading your thread about adapting to life in USA and his dislike of mexicans,thats not surprising. Why is a new medical "last thing we need"? Because it makes him angry? We are not happy but we don't make the rules,but we must play the game.

But the good news is that there is movement on your case, and you will have your green card once you redo the medical. it's not in limbo anymore! :D

Because uscis cant make it simple like the july and august filers getting approved. All of us older filers are getting the notice for a new medical, new expense

And that would be just our luck

Yes, that's true. I am hoping it was because I made a call to USCIS last week. Wish me luck, everyone. We are going to do this before the end of this month - my husband will take a leave- . Unfortunately, my husband just took a leave from work this week yet he has to accompany me to find a doctor since I still can't drive. The letter says we have to submit not later than August 10th, 2015.

Any March, or April filer still waiting, we hope your wait ends soon. To all June and July filers who have received green cards,congratulations. Hell, we got NOA-2 for I-129_F in 12 days, it figures that we pay the price now. No rhyme or reason, we get letter requiring new medical while others do not. Whatever happens with your app, do what they ask and in the end you will smile. We are together, and above all else, that is what is important.

Hey everyone, my card was finally ordered today! I filed April 1st, 2014, got an RFE for an expired medical, did that all over again and finally approved!

Yes the RFE and redux medical were a pain, hassle and headache, BUT, life is all green now...CELEBRATE...

4/3/14 NOA1 Recipt

6/9/14 NOA EAD approved

6/27/14 NPIW letter dated same

12/5/14 First service request (Notice did not receive)

12/9/14 Response says the wait can be as long as 9 - 12 months from date of receipt

1/8/15 Second service request on line (out of processing date) - immediate listed unassigned

1/20/15 Talked with Tier 2 - he files General Inquiry to have NYC field offlce request file

1/23/15 My Case states SR from 1/9/15 is complete, response mailed

1/28/15 Written response from NYC office states case "...remains under active examination..."
