They don't look at the NPIW letter for being out of processing times, they go by the field office processing times. The NPIW, is just a letter to stall us and make sure we don't ring them and ask where our cards are. Personally I feel they will tell us any old rubbish just to keep us from pestering them, they don't have a set policy or set rules! They just make it up as they go along to pacify us!

Yeah, the letter seems like it just buys them time. It's weird though because if we can't find out where our case is, how do we know what dates to look at to determine if we are outside of the normal times?! Our cases could be anywhere...

Well to make a service request for being out of processing times you always go with your local field office.

Doesn't that take the biscuit!!! Shaking my head yet again. Here's the thing, they can send us an EAD card so we can work and pay taxes, but we aren't worthy enough of a GC. How to make someone feel welcome when they leave everything behind to marry an American citizen and want to enjoy their first year of married life!

We celebrate our first wedding anniversary at weekend and one thing I wont be doing is wasting my energy talking about the USCIS that day, they have had enough of my time!!

Your husband needs to read this thread and then he will KNOW you have nothing to do with it!! My husband is VERY angry about the delay, so much so he took it upon himself to write to the White House about the delay without even telling me!! He knows the insecurity I feel and how I just don't feel wanted in this country really, he is ashamed of the way they have treated me and others!

Why don't you just copy and paste my posting into a translator for him to read? I don't think they have a direct email.

The good news is your SR gave you a specific office. That's not been the norm as far as I remember. so there's hope!

Unfortunately, on the other hand I am furious that they have replied personally and the reason I am is because the response I received stated that they could not discuss individual cases. LIARS!!!! (Do I need to change my profile pic to Pinocchio again).

I am actually thinking of putting in a complaint as I am so tired of them treating us ALL as if we are brain dead. It's a blatant insult to our intelligence and integrity!

I wonder if it is because we are not outside the 6 months the NPIW letter says? Seems like everyone who got specific info got the letter before us and are outside the 6 months they told us to wait I just wanna know where my case is!!!

I filed my SR after 6 months had passed for my NPIW letter. But I actually haven't received my SR response yet, so it could be more detailed. /shrug

Why on earth would he think YOU have anything to do with it? It would make things harder on you and HIM! We got a RFE but, we filed April 1st and we only got that response on May 8th. Have him call and talk to a Tier 2, they do speak other languages. Then he can hear it from the horses mouth.
