Ha! I suppose it was Jan,

I honestly needed a break from tracking times and checking USCIS, which is why I went away for a little. Was honestly not even going to think about anything until the end of this month, when I was going to submit my reapplication thing.

An RFE arrived last week while I was out of town, stating that my I-693 was incomplete due to lack of immunization records. They were provided by me to the Panel Physician, and obviously should have been included in the package by him to USCIS. I have a copy of the doctor-signed DS-3025 stating that all is in order. Hopefully sending that along will do the trick. But man...frustrating.

At least there's some movement on the case though.

I am beginning to wonder if the USCIS have a radar system, they always seem to send GC's, rfe's and correspondence when their customers are away!!!!

So I got a response from my SR as follows: Dont know if I believe it has left the NBC, doubt it, it seems a generic response so we won't bother them for a while! e status of this service request is:

On May 12, 2015, you or your representative contacted USCIS to inquire about your Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case was recently transferred to a USCIS Field Office as part of a backlog reduction initiative. Due to the volume of cases being processed, we are unable to provide individual responses at this time. We are working as quickly as possible to complete these cases. If you have a particular concern or emergency please make an appointment to go to your local office for an INFOPASS appointment:https://infopass.uscis.gov/.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

That is a new response! However it still has the same meaning...wait, be patient, wait some more, and until then wait some more. "backlogged" is an understatement. Cool thing is that it was transferred to a local field office. Hmmm which one though?

I emailed Ombudsman, and got another generic response. Your case is assigned to an analyst for review. Once the review has been completed, you will be notified if additional information is needed, or once USCIS has contacted. We hope that you find this information helpful and thank you for your continued patience.

Yeah it is a new response and at least they are now admitting to back logs, but what I don't get is this. Tina and Johan came back to a response and were told something is in the mail, so if that is the case they ARE doing personal responses!!!

I haven't gotten anything that detailed, only that it's been responded to. I realize that it seems generic, but like Janet and Adonis said, it's telling you that it's been transferred. THAT's exciting!!
