Wow, congrats!

I don't want to contact any politician or senator whatsoever. I had once and did not get a good response at all.

Enjoy your freedom now, lol.

Thanks !!!

I did not want to waste my time contact those people, but I'd rather spend my time focus on my job and put the trust in god's hands. He knows best when it's time.

Finally, I can enjoy my freedom!!!

I'm confused! I keep reading that AOS cases are sometimes sent to other field offices than the one you filed for? My USCIS case status says it's still at the Nebraska Service Center, but it probably isn't there? Is that what I am gathering from the posts I've been reading?

We filed in early Sept 2014, got an Interview waiver letter Dec 11, 2014 and have one more month until our 6 months is up for that (not that it seems to matter). My husband is starting school June 22nd and we really need to file for loans but can't without the GC. Any tips?

Also, what is "normal processing times" for AOS?

My letter says "Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. Presently, we anticipate that delay to be approximately 6 months from the date of this letter." Didn't yours say that too?

Ok, your file has NEVER been at Nebraska, apparently that was a mistake! You don't have to wait to do a service request with your letter, it goes on what date your local field office is processing, so if your field office is dealing with September and your noa1 is before their date you can do a service request, but it doesn't get you any where much as they mean they are dealing with interviews, but its a loop hole for us to make a noise!

Thirdly, you can expedite a GC for school/college, someone did the very same thing and got their GC! Hope that helps!! :)

RFE damn, but at least its movement! And yes it looks like they sent your file to Texas, its very rare with an NPIW letter it goes to your local office, it does happen, but its rare!

Take that Wavier Letter and nicely file it with all of your other Green Card paperwork and dont pay attention to that date. Pay attention to the date of your I797 Notice from your I485. The received date is thedate that you should pay attention to. We are in a category all to ourselves with the NPIW Letter. The processing times are only to file a SR for us. Shell has posted this information for you.

They are on page 216, they are the ones that were asked to get the children birth certs even though the children were not immigrating.

Thank you everyone, I can say it has been an interesting journey...to put it mildly. Our letter also said 6 months, but took 10. And yes, my RFE asked for 2014 tax return, marriage certificate...which they already had, New medical and birth certificates for 3 children not immigrating. I know those who have recently gotten the same notices know the feeling of relief. I didn't realize how stressed I have been with it all.

Congrats to everyone with their notices and to those with RFEs look at it this way, it means someone is holding onto your case waiting for that return of information. My case was updated the same day my rfe was received so they will get to it and process it.

Now, to prove just how crazy I am, We are going the return route and getting my husband his PR in Canada as his child is graduating and starting collage and I have two younger children that we want to get back to up there since my Ex is being a douche and making life difficult. It has been ridiculous money, but in the end, it will all be worth it in the end.

Thank you thank you! So you're saying that our application IS at the local field office?

Is the best way to expedite to go through our senator?
